Reported EPS for the period was a loss of 51 euro cents, compared to earnings of 40 euro cents profit for 2015, reflecting the amortisation and exceptional items associated with the acquisition, together with the increased number of shares in issue. Adjusted EPS (based on adjusted profit) was 26 euro cents compared to 73 euro cents for 2015.

Your comments towards me are wrong, and I originally
bought into aly in the single digits up to late teens,
so a 2p was massive. The return in dividends from them
has been similar to gvc and I have had my money back and more.
The dividend is still handsome at today's share price never mind
in the single digits.
I do agree the drop is not welcome but just another opportunity.


Lets not get argumentative, just because I thought we could
reach 748p today, and remember you asked I just replied.

If you wish to filter me please do, and as for what Mylands
has stated all is true.

Yes but isnt EPS at 26c well below expectations of 34c? Or am I reading it wrongly?

Nice special divi of 15.1 cents. Ex dividend date is the 30th so a nice quick pay day, on 12th May. That will certainly keep analysts on their toe rattling it out!

NGR above estimates, EBITDA all higher than analyst expectations and capital expenditure 20m lower than the group in 2015.

Another outstanding performance. ExDividend date is NEXT WEEK, 30th March (paid 12-05-2017), 15.1 Euro cents per share.

Woodhawk, please don't revert to your former self, you were doing so well!I've been here since the 96p days, and it's a nice feeling.The results tomorrow 'should' be fine, given that we already have trading updates covering 10 months of the year.Although NOTHING is ever guaranteed in the stock market.If the trend continued however, and a decent dividend accompanies the results, I can see us hitting 750p at some point on Thursday.

All I know is Active and I were in this when it fell to 79p and we both were posting what an unbelievable yield it had, at one point, of over 50%! Everyone thought/said the div would be slashed but the opposite happened under Kenny's leadership.

Who knows what stock anyone else has, or how much was bought or sold when. Comments like Active's are meaningless - longevity gives no special insights!

For me tomorrow the key isn't necessarily the revenue growth, it's what our margins are looking like. We've certainly invested heavily in deals with betting software providers etc. But how much has this ultimately hit the bottom line? That will ultimately demonstrate how lean and efficient the business is-we know revenue growth has been exceptional over the last few years, but at some point that should slow (hopefully not too soon!), so our efficiency in the business needs to be there.

I'm quietly confident- hoping for a small dividend rise, and a move towards the 760p mark.

At which point I will look to reduce my position slightly. Far too overweight in this for the time being!

It's true Active and I bought a load of stock at 79p. Problem for me was I had bought before at up to 400p! Still I averaged down to 150p and then received all those incredible div payments. Been my best investment by a long shot.

I expected it to go blue by close.Disappointing that it didnt. Will need great results to reach 726p tomorrow imo.

However if the US turns strongly blue tonight, then all bets are off!

I don't think it's shorts. Just part of the wider market sell off today. Everything is off by a percent except defensives.
