03/11/2017 12:31 | tickboo stop trying to defend them. Clearly they'll be able to wiggle out of that one as they do with them all. The point is that they give the impression of progress on 10/10 which they then revise and may well revise again. Take the tweet 10 days ago showing things arriving at the Dino2 site. They'll argue they didn't know about delays at that point I'm sure. I find that hard to believe. It's all just BS smoke and mirrors and you know it as well as I do. | loglorry1
03/11/2017 12:30 | So Logs only pick's the wording that support his case and dismisses the rest. Lol | short6
03/11/2017 12:23 | Funny how you cut the bottom bit off, log. Sly. Okay they didn't complete by 15 Oct.Selection process of contractors to provide drilling services, well logging services, cementing services and procurement services for tubulars, drilling fluids, mud and chemicals has been completed. Contract discussions are in progress and expected to be finalised by 15 October 2017. | tickboo
03/11/2017 12:20 | this is a simple problem with FRR that bulls don’t see... the company lies. Tallying up what is said from one RNS to another and from one podcast/video to another kinda shows this minor point up. | bumpa33
03/11/2017 12:16 | "and I assume can officially move into production within that period." - really why do you assume this? "the delay isn't great, clearly but at least they've communicated why." "communicated" is a good term it looks to me that they've been caught in a lie. October 10th RNS "Selection process of contractors to provide drilling services, well logging services, cementing services and procurement services for tubulars, drilling fluids, mud and chemicals has been completed." Today "Additionally, negotiations are currently underway with drilling and cementing service providers and respective contracts are expected to be entered into shortly." Caught in yet another lie by the looks of it. | loglorry1
03/11/2017 12:12 | "It is a very important milestone to complete workover operation of the Ud-2 well in time and within budget. We are very excited that this successful operation made three gas-bearing intervals available for proper testing. The Middle Miocene-aged Gareji reservoir is a very well known, prolific oil and gas-bearing formation in the area, the Oligocene and Lower Miocene-aged Maykop reservoir is a world class rock source for a number of large oil and gas fields situated within the Black Sea and Caspian Sea areas, one of which is the giant Shah Deniz gas field offshore Caspian. "Successful testing of the Ud-2 well, situated inside the 950 km2 Mtsare Khevi Gas Complex, will help prove the tremendous gas potential of Block 12 in Georgia. According to Netherland Sewell & Associates' estimates, the area contains 8.3 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas in Place of which 5.8 Trillion Cubic Feet is considered recoverable. | tickboo
03/11/2017 12:09 | The oil play seems low hanging fruit and will give decent ROI but I'm more interested in the gas which is why this is a hold for me. In addition, FRR will not lose any of the block for 5 years which is good and I assume can officially move into production within that period. The delay isn't great, clearly but at least they've communicated why. Obviously still risky but NS&A have confirmed a massive gas resource and a decent percentage is deemed recoverable. | tickboo
03/11/2017 12:09 | Terrible RNS chap. I took a position here at around 0.6p about six weeks ago........I sold out for a very minimal profit (like about £100) a couple of weeks back, gut feeling, nothing else really. Very fortunate based on today. If they manage to make Ud-2 flow then I will have missed out, probably big time; but I'm happy with my money being elsewhere for now. If there's a decent risk/reward opportunity that arises here again, that's not to say I won't take it. | herschel k
03/11/2017 12:04 | Hang in for 5.8tcf of gas With respect to operations at well Ud-2, as announced on 2 October 2017 the Company has commenced extensive testing of the well following successful completion of workover operations. An update will be provided in due course as this work unfolds. | h2owater
03/11/2017 12:01 | log - you’re right there, they don’t listen - until it’s too late. But then that’s what gives us opportunity aplenty. | bumpa33
03/11/2017 11:59 | Yes HK for sure. It's also totally fixed so its very hard for anyone to take a short position. Anyway back to FRR - what do you make of that RNS? | loglorry1
03/11/2017 11:59 | GGP news imminent! | cudmore
03/11/2017 11:56 | log, that's my point though - there's an option for people to avoid the leveraged risk now because ISA's are tax free. yes, you need more cash (as it's not leveraged), but your downside risk is massively reduced too. it just means you can trade more without worrying.......which most now do. H | herschel k
03/11/2017 11:54 | yes HK and if they want to leverage up there is always spread bet companies also tax free. | loglorry1
03/11/2017 11:53 | A bloke called Zaza, and punters trust that? Mug punters. | sux_2bu
03/11/2017 11:52 | "It didn't help that AIM was being promoted by HMG by removing stamp duty." Log, I would go one step further.........the use of stocks and shares ISA's, particularly with the substantial increases in limits (now £20k per annum), means that trading becomes rife on EVERY stock now because there's no CGT to worry about, or additional form filling on tax returns, etc. as it's all tax free. Whilst I understand why the Gov't have done what they've done, it only truly benefits the wealthy in society anyway (I'd suggest 95% of the country have nowhere near the income to be able to set aside £20k per annum into an ISA), so all they have done is turned everyone's accounts into trading accounts, just without the leveraged risk. All IMO. H | herschel k
03/11/2017 11:52 | Loglorry Didn’t take on board the full extent of the RNS. Late night etc. PML looking ready to soar!! | cudmore
03/11/2017 11:48 | Bumpa part of the problem with AIM is they never run out of suckers! There is a constant stream of "new investors" coming in. They all think they know what they are doing and don't listen to the old guard. It didn't help that AIM was being promoted by HMG by removing stamp duty. Also social media and BBs don't help because almost all of it is bullish rubbish. I think folk get burned a few times lose a few tens of K then disappear but there is always another one that comes along. | loglorry1
03/11/2017 11:45 | They gotta be running out of suckers at this rate..! | bumpa33
03/11/2017 11:44 | Having reread the RNS i’m out on a 50% profit. Have to agree with Loglorry for once! Take a look at PML.....looking good there with directors piling in! | cudmore
03/11/2017 11:43 | @dodge just different suckers each time. Amazing really but I guess if it works why not take advantage of the same suckers each time. The problem is FRR spends a lot of money on PR telling everyone how great they are then selling them new shares. They never deliver but then just rinse and repeat. There is a reason why there are 14.5bn shares in issue and probably very soon to be 17.5bn. | loglorry1 |
