Outlook

Looking ahead, we expect trading conditions to remain challenging in 2017. The surge in sales in Q1 2016 will not be repeated and should current levels of activity continue in the short term, it is likely that 2017 sales volumes will be below those in 2016.

Looks finished, 80p next support ffs 😁

Stubborn resistance at 100p, could stay in this range for a few weeks yet before moving higher.

Yawn, share price still intact, all negative news priced in, I am not in a hurry to get to 120p, as HER has returned me 700% so far.

Sitting back waiting for another opportunity to buy these lower, if the market allows me, £ at lowest for a while will attract more overseas buyers, sooner we trigger article 50 the better, as the uncertainty is holding back many stocks.

"Worse could be to come for Foxtons as estate agents are set to be hit by Chancellor Philip Hammond's pledge to abolish letting agent fees charged to tennants.

The proposal announced in the last Autumn Statement, is currently in consultation but no date has yet been set for its implementation."

No postion but can only see this falling with brex on the way and markets due for correction on the down side. Also new landlord and renting regulation coming out reducing the income from these.

I wouldn't argue "sales are going to be worse in 2017 than 2016 unless there are changes in the market which aren't apparent" is old news NY Boy. Take off your rose tinted glasses.

Most of the news is priced in by the looks of it but the catalyst won't come immediately to make it soar (which it will eventually) so it may drift lower for a while

Foxtons sees property sales plunge as Brexit vote hits
08 March 2017
Business

Foxtons says revenue from property sales plunged 23% last year due to uncertainty following the Brexit vote as well as changes to stamp duty.

Profits at the London-focused estate agent more than halved as a result, falling to £18.8m last year from £41m in 2015.

Foxtons does not expect any let-up in 2017, warning trading conditions will "remain challenging".

Sales will fall further this year if current trends continued, it said.
