It bounced off the 200 day moving average. I don't think it will go down to £9 probably more likely to stay in the £10-£11 range..

Over 23% drop since it peaked at start of November.

Has anyone tried EXR's website lately, big chunks of it, including the home page, do not seem to work.


EDIT: correction - just tried again and it seems to be OK now.

Agreed. But it's worked well for us so far. I was on their premises the other day in Aberdeen. An impressive outfit, and best of all they looked real busy.

Strange that it's jumped and then flatlined. Wonder if we'll see any change when the US wakes up?

Mystery solved - it hasn't flat lined, ADVFN's chart is broken. I thought it was unusual for EXR's share price to stop moving. Still, it all adds to the conspiracy theories!

How many out there think this has the slightest chance of happening.....

"Evolution Securities said rumours of a Halliburton Co (NYSE: HAL - news) bid for Baker Hughes Inc have driven the US oil service index to an all-time high, highlighting that M&A activity in the oil service sector is still very active."

HAL would be forced to sell off 95% of what they'd bought by the US Justices/ competition people/whoever.

This sector to be re-ignited after the takeover of SONDEX by GE.

3i makes 375P indicative offer for Abbot Group

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Private equity group 3i is understood to have
made an 375-pence-a-share indicative offer for Abbot Group PLC, the Financial
Times reported.
The proposed deal values the oil-services group at around 870 mln stg and 3i has been granted limited due diligence. However, the newspaper said a deal is not imminent. Founder Alisdair Locke is understood to be interested in selling all or part of his 12.96 pct stake in the group, with his holding worth 112.8 mln stg at the offer price.

beaudelaire or anyone can I bend your ear?
with US stocks at record highs and the recent very toppy oil price do you see EPR pushing forward short term medium and what kind of prices would you see pr interims?
Any other info will be great.
I know thats a lot of mystic ball gazing but Just a guide line will suffice.
Thanks in advance...looking for an entry and considering prices.

BlackRock adding more than 9% in Expro !
Now it becomes clearer why the share price artificially dropped
after the most bullish Trading Update in this sector !

Interesting acticle that can affect oil prices thus more
interests in drilling for more.

The most bullish statement I have ever seen so far in this industry -

"Graeme Coutts, Group CEO commented: "I am very pleased with the pace of
