01/8/2008 16:47 | It's not on the list yet: (but from Brent Walker to Polly Peck it makes nostalgic reading!) | sharw
01/8/2008 15:48 | Does anyone know if losses can be used to offset gains yet? I seem to recall there is a list on which ELH has to appear first, but I can't remember its name. TIA | realcooltrader
29/4/2008 19:34 | lol V. Also finally gone from my portfolio. Shame really, it was there like a reminder of what not to do (although I think I just about broke even with my in and outs). Whatever happened to Haystack, He is needed on the Marchpole (Marchtwig? Marchstump?) thread to counterbalance the idiot MasterRSI. I wonder if they managed to sell off the shell, plenty of tax losses to write off vs future profits for the right company... | momentos
28/4/2008 08:30 | I'm afraid the fat lady's been given her bouquet, has slipped back into her jeans and is downing a gin in the pub next door. My brokers wrote the following: Eurodis Electron We have been notified by the administrator, Deloitte and Touche, that there is no value in the shares of Eurodis Electron and, therefore, the stock has been removed from accounts effective from 9 April 2008, the date of the correspondence from the administrator. At least it took the administrators a while to charge enough fees to use up all the money that was left... | verulamium

14/9/2006 09:26 | Thankyou for your reply. I just wantto be told that I can burn my certificates though, and for the ones that I hold in CREST to be removed from my screen. | barrybaker
13/9/2006 16:53 | Yes - if the company is in receivership, which has hapened to me a couple of times, there is zero communication with the shareholders. If it takes the 'administration' route, however, you get a couple of large documents sent to you at certain stages. Other than being kept informed, it makes no difference to the value of your shareholding at the end of the day which is zero. | sharw
13/9/2006 16:40 | Before ELH I have never held shares in a company thats gone under, but I would be amazed if the shareholders are usually treated like this. Obviously I don't expect to get anything back, but I do expect to be told what has become of the company and its assets, and for the shares to be cancelled or whatever happens to them. Has anybody had an experience like this before? | barrybaker
13/9/2006 16:25 | It appears that it is still on the official list: | sharw
13/9/2006 12:40 | still suspended i think anyone ? | dollyg
