07/3/2014 10:52 | Just a leg-pull re MONI, PJ ;o) couldn't resist it - but breaking into and gaining traction with their Mobile Wallet tech (Interactive Services Division) is terrific news. Abundantly clear that they've been working closely with a number of local retailers to prove and refine the technology over many months. I just wonder if they might consider spinning this side of business out(?) Looks to be a genuine game-changer. Can't help but be impressed by the breadth of their product/service portfolio. | knackers
07/3/2014 09:03 | MONI have the Banks though, that's their main target (or was) | pj 1

07/3/2014 08:04 | Terrific win. As I thought, Escher moving into mainstream retail sector with their mobile/omni channel solution. How do you begin to size that opportunity! | knackers
07/3/2014 07:11 | 7 March 2014 Escher Group Holdings plc Mobile wallet contract win with food retailer, Just Falafel Escher Group Holdings plc (AIM: ESCH, "Escher" or the "Group"), a world-leading provider of outsourced, point-of-service software to the postal industry, announces that it has signed a contract with international food retail chain, Just Falafel, for the provision of a loyalty, coupon and pre-payment solution across its retail outlets in the UK. Escher will deliver a tailored mobile wallet solution to Just Falafel in the UK market. It will launch this month in the Fulham store followed by a rollout in all Just Falafel stores throughout the UK. Escher's innovative mobile wallet technology will enhance Just Falafel's ability to engage with their customers in a more relevant way, by giving them meaningful rewards for their purchases. The mobile wallet will provide a greater service experience to customers too, allowing them to make closed loop payments using a secure dynamic QR code as identity for payment. This functionality and the delivery of relevant content and offers to its customers will support Just Falafel's customer loyalty and acquisition goals. Liam Church, Chief Executive of Escher Group said: "With increasing competition on the high street, businesses are constantly seeking ways to differentiate themselves. Providing customers with rewards for their custom and convenience in how they can fulfill their purchases is a key way for retailers to define and strengthen their offering. "Our mobile wallet solution for loyalty and couponing has been hugely successful with our existing customers. Furthermore, our secure pre-payment technology is enabling businesses to offer their customers something unique in today's marketplace". Since 2012, Escher's mobile wallet solutions have been deployed to over sixty high street retailers throughout Ireland. Brands include Daybreak convenience store, Health Matters, Finnbees Coffee House, Graham O'Sullivan and most recently the newly launched food court Green and Baker in Dublin's prime shopping centre, St Stephen's Green. Just Falafel is a vegetarian fast food chain of restaurants. Founded in 2007 from a single restaurant in Abu Dubai it has grown to be the biggest falafel franchise in the world with 47 stores, and agreements signed with commitment of developing more than 903 outlets in 18 different countries. | battlebus2
06/3/2014 09:30 | Joining the dots (cough!) any one else think these small trades are beginning to look [more than a bit] fishy..? | knackers
05/3/2014 12:54 | Escher Group @escher_group Mar 4 2 weeks until #2014NPF. Escher is showcasing our range of innovative solutions that are shaping the future of postal retail. See you there. Escher's new narrative: Helping Posts do business in the digital age. Something of a market opportunity presented m'thinks... | knackers
04/3/2014 17:18 | Likewise, Ed but to be fair there were some pretty useful trading vols several days back - PG seem v keen to re-rate the stock. Some of the earlier trades today look suspiciously 'PI' (cough!) in terms of size. As we well know, this share is not followed and I find it hard to believe recent purchasers are all investing on a momentum play. ;o) So my only conclusion, that something pretty meaningful is driving the action whether a partnership, deal-flow, licensing etc. I still wouldn't put it beyond the realms of possibility should an NEC, SAP, Oracle or Fujitsu...make a hostile offer. They'd get the entire shooting match and a shoe-into a market occupied by the world's largest retailers for little more than £5. We know they want the business, the problem they have - competing vs Escher on quality/value. Escher is something of a bid/tender 'machine'. | knackers
04/3/2014 16:33 | Neither am i :)) fantasmic... | battlebus2
04/3/2014 16:29 | would like to see some volumes up here - all based on very small turnover of stock but hey i am not complaining! | edwardt
04/3/2014 15:29 | Good to see Escher hiring FTEs again. You need to dig around a bit, but they seem to be going into the new FY with tails in the air. Whilst it's [obviously] never the complete picture h/c on LinkedIn provides a useful trend indicator. | knackers
04/3/2014 08:30 | Good to see Mr Market finally waking up to what Escher has in 'their' mobile wallet ;o) High time decent value was attributed to this Interactive Services Division. That'll be the area providing the growth kicker - as well as ePost solutions of course. Could be quite a year. | knackers
03/3/2014 15:36 | Time to get these out of the bottom drawer again. :)) | battlebus2
03/3/2014 15:32 | nice day here given what is going on elsewhere - must be some interest coming from somewhere. | edwardt
28/2/2014 08:54 | ...and there we are, another Blinkx director purchase RNS this AM and a more meaningful amount. I expect others to be clearing their piggy banks! | knackers
27/2/2014 18:00 | Considerable manipulation going on, but I believe it a strong 'conviction' buy at these prices in and around £1. I would expect to see further director support if it remains at these levels. Defo a sizeable order being filled here, note the recent large late trades declared on the bid and yet the mark-up. | knackers
27/2/2014 16:06 | what is your take on blinkx? | edwardt |
