13/8/2015 22:14 | It really comes down to whether you believe the directors or not I choose to believe them However they did qualify their optimism with the statement that their forecast was based on a number of corporate contracts they had secured living up to expectations As the overall market is in a sweet spot I think they will. They certainly have the opportunity | jbarcroftr
13/8/2015 20:37 | My circumstances are similar to those of Ramridge (323). I did my own research and was and still am happy with my decision, even with the price reduction. I have reviewed my workings and see no material change. I agree with the last post as tree shake and general market sentiment. I am in this game for an income and as such find no reason to lose money in silly circumstances. | scobak
13/8/2015 15:47 | Tree shake. | fizzypop
13/8/2015 14:07 | stueyatblean - let's also not forget the £9m+ loans written off pre-IPO. 'leopards' and 'spots' springs to mind. despite the attractive dividend i was happy to apply the bargepole to ENTU post float. | speedsgh
13/8/2015 13:57 | The only reason this is dropping is because R&M are drip feeding their holding | copestake
13/8/2015 13:48 | Following the recent company update I was surprised that IC maintained their BUY sentiment. There have been a number of significant events surrounding this company that suggest all is not well: Possible leaking of company information prior to announcement date, actual data release prior to pre-advised announcement date, the interim report suggesting loss of key staff, management not showing up for a shareholders / investors meeting and the only incentive to buy the shares being a unusually large dividend (a case of jam tomorrow?). Perhaps the market has woken up and smelt the coffee? | stueyatblean
13/8/2015 12:22 | I bought into Entu @108p a few weeks ago, on the back of my own analysis, a very healthy div yield, and very positive reviews by both Paul S and Simon T. So I am totally mystified by the sharp falls. Nothing much has changed since. At least not that we know of. | ramridge
13/8/2015 11:30 | Isn't their website covered with green deals...which seems to be at odds with what they say will be the impact of VAT/Tory policy... | tsmith2
13/8/2015 11:14 | I wonder what Paul Scott thinks about the drop ... was this the share that he quintupled his stake around 106p? Large yield really was a carrot few could resist. | fizzypop
13/8/2015 09:33 | Dropping below 100p is really not a good sign. I suspect many others like myself have lost faith. Until they can restore that, I suspect it will drift lower and lower. What appaling managment. Has anyone contacted the regulator re the leak before results? | investorneil1
11/8/2015 13:31 | Oh dear...back to IPO price. | fizzypop
05/8/2015 20:38 | Just had a look at Edison's forecasts for 2015 - anyone know what they were smoking?!? They're expecting the co to do just under £70m turnover in H2, up from £52.9m in H1. There's a couple million to come from a full contribution from acquisitions however that implied growth is stupid. Moving down to the bottom line you also need to factor in H2 gross margins have been lower than H1 in the last two years, and also admin costs spiked in H1 compared to last years H2. For me, a realistic expectation for FY EPS is 9p - 10p. Looking back at the full year results in feb, the Outlook statement just looks like a pack of lies to me. They were over half way through H1 so I struggle to understand the bullish nature of them. Valuation looks about right to me; main reason for holding is the superb yield | adamb1978
27/7/2015 10:29 | Well the shareprophets are normally doom and gloom about most things so its refreshing to see they see this as a strong buy! | fleagle_uk
27/7/2015 08:43 | I don't expect that from any business person, let alone directors from a listed company! Buffy | buffythebuffoon
26/7/2015 23:44 | The meeting was set up then within three hours they cancelled it basically stating that they had a clash and the other meeting could not be changed ! I honestly think these guys are new to market and not very good at the communication one expects from listed companies particularly with regards to Private investors. They have offered a meeting in September instead | davidosh
26/7/2015 22:07 | Promising an 8% yield.... Over promising and under delivering at H1 Pulling out of a meeting that was still on the day before, with a pathetic excuse....it's all adding up.... Buffy | buffythebuffoon
26/7/2015 21:43 | The meeting was cancelled, as the directors had diary clashes. Not impressive. | james188
26/7/2015 21:36 | Davidosh, is there any feedback from the meeting that you can share? Thanks | flchamp
26/7/2015 20:28 | My experience of this market is Seasonal bias means Christmas - effectively 4 weeks of lost sales Advertising takes a minimum of 3 months to show up in payback So my take was they were confident of hitting market expectations despite the advertising expenditure Thus the first half of 2015/16 might be better than current expectations Also the acquisition should be starting to kick in Of course these assumptions may be completely wrong Time will tell | jbarcroftr
26/7/2015 19:49 | Frothy is pumping this one by email. One free share Tip Entu (LSE:ENTU) has announced results for the six months ended 30th April 2015 and that “we have seen and continue to see increased activity levels in the second half, and we remain on track to meet market expectations for the full year”. | maxk
26/7/2015 09:02 | Well if they return to the 2014 first half levels that's 6.5p I think 2015 was a blip | jbarcroftr
25/7/2015 19:37 | Quite an ask. Acquisitions may change the picture, but note that the company's very recent half yearly report states (see the Outlook section) that the second half of the year is seasonally stronger than the first for Entu's core business. | james188
25/7/2015 10:21 | To achieve forecast earnings of 13.8 p for the year they will need to do 9.7p in the second half So they can only need to repeat that for the full year | jbarcroftr
25/7/2015 09:20 | jbarcroftr, I'm sure you'd like the share price somewhat higher, but I see absolutely no logic in that statement. Buffy | buffythebuffoon |
