Excellent buy, gentoo will not have run this business very comercially as they are basically a social housing supplier. So there will be lots of costs which can be stripped out.

AdamB1978, I think that might already be the case, two directors left in December 2013, leaving only Stephen McGowan.

At a cost of only £200k it gives a PSR figure of 0.016, bargain of the century?

Well after some digging into Astley Facades accounts, a PSR purchase ratio of 0.127 would seem about right imv. Still good value if ENTU's management can turn the business around.

£200k acquisition; company trading at break-even. Fire the CFO and you've probably bought the company on a PE of say 3x

I am guessing that good things are emanating from the AGM given the move in the share price ....:-)

I am guessing there must be some reason for the rise!

Worth reminding investors here that the AGM is next Tuesday, as we have no precedent it is hard to know if a trading update would also be released?

The outlook statement in February said "The current year has started well and trading is in line with our expectations." So they will now have almost 5 month's of the current financial year to comment on.

Very quick response to say the payment was received by cheque and they await clearance before crediting the funds(unlike other brokers obviously!). Said funds would be in the account by tomorrow.

They did say the following in the February results statement.

"As a Group we have benefitted over the years from acquisitions and, to complement our organic growth, we are always exploring the potential to enhance our product offering through carefully targeted acquisitions which meet strict value enhancing criteria."

As long as any future acquisitions are along these lines, and are earning enhancing, then it would be a sensible strategy alongside good organic growth.

The repair and renewal agreements sector might be a focus, it is apparently a fragmented market yet has very high profit margins.

Which reminds me about the recent agreement with Flowgroup for ENTU to sell, install and maintain the Company's electricity-generating Flow boiler and to market the Company's home energy offer.

This was an agreement announced on the same day as results in February, and I believe shows the direction and focus on future agreements or acquisitions that offer high profit margins.

Anyone else NOT received their dividend yet? iDealing haven't coughed up yet which is unusual for them as they are normally fairly punctual.

Sheikh al Utrati

I've had a quick look at ENTU. Thanks, Sheikh al Utrati. :-)

You got a good entry price. Well done!

It's a good sector, too. And those finals look good.

They do intend, though, to go for acquisitions. That raises my eyebrows, since the finals showed eps rising by 57%. If they can do that organically, why take risks on acquisitions?

I'll go through the IPO documents when I get time.

Thanks again.
