Relativity Alum Tucker Tooley, Entertainment One Form Movie Partnership.

Entertainment One has signed a first look co-financing and international distribution deal for feature films with former Relativity Media president Tucker Tooley under his Tooley Prods.

Under the deal, announced Friday at the Toronto Film Festival, Tooley will develop premium films to be co-financed and produced with eOne, while eOne exclusively manages distribution rights to Tooley projects in the U.K., Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Benelux, and Spain.

Toronto’s burgeoning film industry has become a victim of its own success because producers can’t easily find studio space and crews to man them, according to an industry panel.

However, it does mention the Toronto in the film festival which is currently underway. I'd hope the eOne have a presence there:

Entertainment One (eOne) has revealed that Katie Rollings is joining the company as its new head of UK licensing for eOne Family and eOne Licensing.

Interesting viewpoint on ITV in yesterday's Sunday Times' Agenda column. The highly acquisitive Liberty Global owns 10% of ITV, and ITV's share price has fallen 25% whilst Brexit has made it even more affordable.

The conclusion is:



"The ITV boss Adam Crozier is himself on the acquisition trail and targeting the Peppa Pig maker Entertainment One. He had better bulk up fast if ITV is to avoid falling prey to a takeover."

Query divi payment by Interactive Investor.

The divi is 1.2p per share payed 9 Sep 2016.

II have paid my account at the rate of 0.9p per share although the statement shows the div as 1.0p so II appear to have made two mistakes: the wrong divi and a wrong calculation. There is no currency conversion since the divi is in sterling.

So check if you are with Interactive Investor.
I will report back when I get a reply but it usually takes II a week to ten days to respond.
