o/t - Master RSI - check ORPH for a H&S formation just bounced off 33p and if it closes above 34p could be the start of a re-rate, or back to 30pps if it fails?

Stew,
Re your message yesterday on Conrad.

"Come on Conrad, let eme and Coro tell us what's going on were ( sic ) nearly half way through the year."

There is an agreed JOA in place on Duyung which is essentially a 3 way agreement, so it is very unlikely that Conrad is activity blocking any news flow. The position is that the JVP are simply awaiting achievement of two major milestones, which are very well known here, namely the upgraded POD & the GSAs. Both of which will enable conversion of contingent resources to accredited reserves which is important for future lending if needed e.g. Block 29 / 11.
In their 2020 annual report issued yesterday, Coro again mentioned the possibility of monetarisation of Duyung, which could involve an early sale or partial sale & which could include Conrad ( partial sale only is likely ) & EME.
There is an existing Twitter account for EME but which hasn´t been used since Nov 2019 reporting on the successful Mako campaign.

Well I've got my tax free pension pot on the way and I know where a chunk is going. I never thought I would be saying that when I first put some into EME .. must be 15 years ago. This time next year.... knowing my luck the lad will get it.

Stew, I'll be happy with any offer north of £1/ps but would much prefer £2/ps. Waited this long what's another 2 years for that sort of return!

If we struck a free carry jv for 50% of jade, the 41.2 becomes 20.6

The Pmean could then be valued at 20.6 + 85 + 5.9 = 111.5pps

The P10 risked becomes 198.5pps

The P10 unrisked becomes 396.5pps

and here we are stuck at 5.8/6p!!

To put this into perspective...

111.5/6pps = 18.5 bags so £1000 investment could become £18,500 or 926,000 shares becomes £1mln

198.5/6 = 33 bags so £1000 investment could become £33,000 or 505,000 shares becomes £1mln

396.5/6 = 66 bags so £1000 investment could become £66,000 or 252,500 shares becomes £1mln

BUY/SELL/HOLD?

GO FIGURE!!

Toon,

Superb many thanks, I skimmed the update early today and have just read it in detail.

The potential is mind blowing, anyone selling must be desperate for cash now, I cannot see greater upside anywhere on the AIM, I would drill Jade and if a success look at Topaz not sure if it would need us to drill it based on Jade, be open to offers and if we get a suitable one, sell China and that's it done.

mind blowing!!

Additionally, we assume conservative recovery factors for the Jade, Topaz and Pearl
prospects of 50%, 40% and 35% respectively. Fields within the Pearl River Mouth Basin often
have strong aquifer support, negating the need for secondary enhanced oil recovery (eg
water flooding). The result is a high average recovery factor of between 30-70%, with the
Lufeng field in particular having a recovery factor of over 70%. To ascertain the recoverable
resources for any single discovery, we multiply the recovery factor by the GCA oil in-place
volumes.
Using the GCA Pmean oil in-place volumes we value a commercial discovery at Jade, Topaz
and Pearl at 41.2p, 85.0p and 5.9p, respectively. Using the P10 oil in-place volumes, our
valuation increases to 92.5p, 129.0p and 22.9p, respectively. Unrisked, these valuations
increase to 185.0p, 258.1p and 45.9p, respectively.
