Apple won. "The 10-person jury unanimously found that Apple hadn't induced any of the accused companies to infringe, but refused Apple's bid to invalidate Emblaze's patent. Apple argued at trial that the invention was obvious and anticipated by prior art."

emblaze had a patented technology that apple used illegally, they cant prove they didnt know about emblaze and even if they could its still illegal to infringe a patent , thats what a patent is for to ensure what you have invented is beneficial to you, emblaze should win but they probably wont, its crazy having a jury decide such matters, it should be a team of independant experts, even with them in charge its hard to see them going against a goliath like apple

Not overly hopeful on the case (but will know soon). At least once it's out the way we might finally relist (despite being told the two are not interlinked it makes sense to wait a few days for the result). My valuation has nothing in it for the case. Not sure many juries would even understand the instructions let alone the case!

Law360, San Francisco (July 08, 2014, 8:25 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. urged a California federal judge on Tuesday to grant it a midtrial win in Emblaze Ltd.'s case accusing the iPhone and iPad of infringing a video live-streaming patent, arguing that Emblaze failed to prove Apple induced media companies to infringe or that Apple owes $511 million in damages.

Apple lodged the motion for judgment as a matter of law after Emblaze rested its case-in-chief before the jury Monday, arguing that the Israeli company's evidence didn't prove that the accused Apple mobile devices, Apple TVs...

However worth remembering that IF they win, they will not only get royalties going forward but will in quick order settle with Microsoft et al so the final amount will be a lot higher regardless

Ok so even if we win Apple will appeal so another 18 months before any announcement , totally Unfair to Emblaze. We are being held to ransom by Apple the robbers.So January 2016 before this farce ends...

Working name "benefit success development"? No idea where that came from but clean break from BLZ. UKLA going forward, all be it slowly, but once approval will relist (next 2-4 weeks?). No major issues raised by UKLA.

Only Eyal at meeting (to some consternation) and no formal presentation. Details on future will be in prospectus when approved but next 'buy' might not be food related. Happy with Willi, think they got a great deal and is undervalued at present. Looking for long term, well managed companies that will deliver solid growth and dividends. (Yes they do know what these are!)

Apple case soon (as reported here) and could be massive (or not depending on outcome and jury). If win, pushed to deliver a special divi. patent runs till 2029. Done on no win no fee (so 25% of any win to lawyers)
