(As just posted on the - old - BLZ thread)

waterloo01. None of the £1m came from ex directors - this amount was the figure paid by the company AFTER contributions from the directors and/or their insurers, as stated in the RNS.

In spite of the announcement last Friday relating to the new ticker of "BDS", there was not the promised confirmation of this being active/operative/effective on Monday, nor one to date.

advfn is not recognising BDS as an EPIC either, even though Morningstar RNS alerts are popping into my email inbox with the new EPIC without me even revising my email alerts with them (ie Morningstar have automatically substituted BDS for BLZ).

Any thoughts on this?

EDIT (3.00pm)
Just checked on Selftrade and NatWest Stockbrokers. On the former BDS is recognised, but without a price showing, whilst on the latter BDS is also recognised with a mid price of 25p!

Seems like this was brought in order to offload some of the BLZ cash

Whats next I wonder ?

The code for the shares remains as BLZ in spite of the name change; see 2nd paragraph of the recent announcement:

The Apple verdict will be appealed.

A close friend of mine is a litigation lawyer who in the past specialised in international intellectual property. He says there were obvious and grave problems with the Apple-Emblaze verdict.

American juries and judges are notorious for giving jingoistic decisions which ignore the legal realities. The jingoistic tendency diminishes as the level of the court increases. So there is a chance Emblaze could win on appeal. For current shareholders, this possiblility can be written off in any valuation of BLZ. In reality there remains a small possiblity of a very large windfall.

BLZ's share of Willi-Foods and the cash on the BLZ balance sheet together give a BLZ asset value significantly above the current market Price. So they remain a bargain at the price at which they were suspended.

I am going to predict a price of 110p PLUS, I base this on the fact that Apple case has been lost, And thus MicroSoft case will soon be kicked out, which will relieve the market of previous wild claims which have been a part even main part of BLZ history.

We also have the possibility to offload EMOZE and ELSE to anyone that wants em, maybe we will get a few grand which could cover or go towards transfer costs.

Leaving BLZ with NEW Focus and a New Management team, these people appear to have form and form means they have friends who would be keen to back them, I think the Danka history should fair well and I can see new opportunities coming from that history,

This could be the one, And there are a lot of very power full people who wanted these changes to happen, and we have seen that process happen.

At this rate it could be never,

But I wonder how the Apple case affects the MicroSoft one ?

Also makes you wonder why no one wishes to buy the BLZ streaming solution

Working name "benefit success development"? No idea where that came from but clean break from BLZ. UKLA going forward, all be it slowly, but once approval will relist (next 2-4 weeks?). No major issues raised by UKLA.

Only Eyal at meeting (to some consternation) and no formal presentation. Details on future will be in prospectus when approved but next 'buy' might not be food related. Happy with Willi, think they got a great deal and is undervalued at present. Looking for long term, well managed companies that will deliver solid growth and dividends. (Yes they do know what these are!)

Apple case soon (as reported here) and could be massive (or not depending on outcome and jury). If win, pushed to deliver a special divi. patent runs till 2029. Done on no win no fee (so 25% of any win to lawyers)
