On the face of it I would agree the results don`t appear to be bad, more important at present the market as not moved on the share price. Do not know if the placing is marked for Institutions, if so don`t see any problem. If ELE are asking the small investor to pay off their debt not very good and I would feel the share price will drop.

The results seem good to me so presumably the
"Placing to raise £2.45m (net of costs) to reduce debt and allow the Group to take advantage of growth opportunities" is the "bad news"?

Placings I agree often represent bad news for PIs but this one may not fit into that category - we'll see what (if anything!) the market makes of it.

Hope I am wrong about this but if the results were promising they would have announced. Feel they are waiting for good news i.e. contract to soften bad news.

'significant factors' could of course be +ve or -ve for shareholders.

The facts of the rapid reply to ferries5's email, the apology and the announcement still being expected this month with the aim being for next week seem neutral to +ve (to me so dyor!)

I apologise both for the lack of a date on RNS, which we do usually provide, and the delay in announcement this time. We have not been able as yet to confirm it due to significant factors.

The trading statement was positive last May, if the results back the statement the share price should be around the 5/6p mark IMHO. Their was some buying today which also looks encouraging.

I can't say how the share price would react next week but this stock is dirt cheap imho. The share price could double from this level before it starts to look fairly priced. I think patience will be rewarded eventually.

ELE is a microcap, below the radar for most investors. Interest in the company often rises after the announcement of its results and then falls off. I've been a shareholder since 2005.

Yeah, its hard to believe that the historic PE ratio is just under 4x. Its a harsh rating imho.
