04/2/2006 05:36 | This is from their statement on the 5th of December. The Company's trading performance in the fourth quarter has been ahead of expectations and as a consequence the results for the year to 30 November 2005 are likely to exceed current market forecasts, even after one-off head office relocation costs. I think the share price will start to rise, price was pushed down today then a lot of buys came in. This share was tipped a buy at 9 1/4 pence good time to get in.How much of a rise we will see depends on by how much they exceed market forecasts, should be an interesting week ahead. This was the buy recommendation after their acquisition. Specialist publisher Electric Word made its largest deal this week with the £2.7m purchase of rival SportBusiness Group, which operates in the growing markets of commercial sport and sports rights. The immediate effect of the acquisition will be to lift Electric Word's adjusted pre-tax profits for 2006 to £705,000 and further benefits are expected from overhead savings and the application of its subscription management expertise. Buy at 9¼p. | mickeyvino
03/2/2006 20:33 | Hmm, if it was expected to rise, then everyone would be buying now. If it was expected to fall, everyone would be selling now. Today, price went down, then came back to what it started at. Lots of undecided people... 13th is unlucking for some, but (IMHO) not for ELE - unless ELE is an Extinction Level Event :-) Og | ![]() ogeretla

I started off about 2years ago buying at 10p and they immediately dropped to 5p. However with a few judicious trades along the way I now hold 300000 shares standing me about 7p | ![]() hybrasil

09/1/2006 15:54 | I've held these since they first entered AIM in 2000 and largely ignored them, probably because its not the most exciting sector, however just recently have taken more interest. Throughout last year they received frequent mention in popular press and were tipped as penny shares several times, now is emerging as a Company to watch. Since the new year and following the annoucement of its latest acquisition ELE share price has moved signifcantly in our favour, so rather than sell, I'm more than happy to enjoy the ride and hope to see it remain above new highs, so for the time being at least, have resolved to stay onboard with the upward trend. | ![]() mazarin |
