15/11/2001 00:12 | I'm tempted to move out of strength & buy into weakness too...to add to my holding. | outsider
14/11/2001 15:42 | Bought my first slice. Just looking too compelling value now in comparison with everything else on my monitor. MMs being generous and price still not participating in the rally so my gut feel is that I may have started buying a little early. We'll see. | stewjames
14/11/2001 13:43 | I just topped up. Dirt Cheap imo and unlikely to stay this cheap. dyor JC | jc111
14/11/2001 11:16 | DFX looking increasingly good value as it fails to join in the market rally. Getting very tempted to switch some of my successful positions in. | stewjames
14/11/2001 11:11 | Small bit or product news that got missed | alsfar
12/11/2001 13:29 | Article below about BOOMING DEMAND FOR IP VPNs ( say BT IGNITE ) Could Dataflex directly benefit from such demand? As their VOIP solutions allow the creation of VPNs according to their website I'm no expert on DFX yet, just been looking it over today. JC | jc111
07/11/2001 11:38 | Why would they be stupid if a six sells suddenly appear in 10 minutes? + any we don't know about that are delayed? | outsider
07/11/2001 11:32 | But would an MM be so stupid as well! | aghumra
07/11/2001 09:56 | It has to be the announcement from DATALEX & not DATAFLEX on sharecast that has spooked a few sellers in a very short space of time. I misread it myself lol. | outsider
07/11/2001 09:05 | Looks like there is a big seller out there - know anything we dont? | highstreetmike
27/10/2001 19:11 | Yep...spoke too soon :-) | outsider
27/10/2001 00:29 | Looks like the sellers are still there | aghumra
25/10/2001 11:27 | Looks like some big sellers cleared yesterday? Any other view on this? | outsider
25/10/2001 00:18 | And they are pretty sizeable buys. Don't want to commit cash 'til I see what NUFO does tomorrow at the US open, but this would be a reasonable entry point. | stewjames
25/10/2001 00:16 | And suddenly, there is some action again - price up! | alsfar
24/10/2001 13:08 | Here is a useful article (by JetStream = Competitor?) as to why 'Voice over DSL' is a compelling product for CLECs and their Customers... | alsfar
24/10/2001 10:42 | That will be a few bailing out from that burst of buying last week. Probably will continue to drip, drip, drip for a few days. It is going to take a bit of good newsflow to get this one back on the agenda. I'm currently having a good look at their new products. So far, all looks pretty reasonable. | alsfar
24/10/2001 10:33 | Still a few sells going through, but price remains steady | outsider
23/10/2001 19:53 | Thanks, alsfar! | njp
23/10/2001 19:50 | NJP - Dataflex were perceived to have no future in the call routing business. Not because of competitors, but because the need for the little boxes was expected to dissappear in most mature markets. The function of the routers was to be eventually replaced by hardware added to the incumbent exchanges. As a result their router market in Europe and the US is expected to collapse. However, the speed at which the incumbants are introducing the equivalent routing has slowed. Also, the EU is not aggressively pushing it any more. Furthermore, less developed countries (eg. South America) still remain a viable market. Meanwhile Dataflex have started to reposition themselves with newer products. Mostly these relate to Voice over IP/DSL. As long as their legacy business buys them time and their new products progress well, the sun may yet shine again. Check Sharecast/Citywire for general comments on the company. | alsfar
23/10/2001 19:35 | NJP, thanks for helping but we're talking at cross purposes - I was asking about the US share outsider just wrote about! outsider, I use an online broker (I'm a very small fish!). Have managed to find a balance sheet. It breaks one of my rules unfortunately - not asset backed. Will look further but I'll be very reluctant to break that rule. Cheers for pointing it out though! | stewjames
23/10/2001 19:33 | O/T for Stew James Most UK brokers can get OTC BB shares no problem. This link will provide you with all the news relases including balnce sheets from their own web site: www.intermediamarket & these are the twelve market makers, 59c to buy at present but still very cheap imo: | outsider |
