19/5/2011 16:33 | yep there it is...the notorious nose dive after a brief and fleeting rise...mms are scabs lol | jkershaw
13/5/2011 11:37 | tony1812 They have only managed 500 tonnes in 6 months. They estimate 1200 tonnes for 2010/11 so have to find 700 tonnes by end of 2010/11 season. Then to make up to the promised 2000 tonnes they must buy from 3rd party. Basic maths = Cash burn £3m x 1.63 = $4.89m 2000 tonnes x $1000 = $2m Shortfall cashflow = $2.89m They are struggling to produce 1200 tonnes without 3rd party and need to produce 4800 tonnes to be cash nutrual...making them a long way off mark They have to grow a lot more crop! | jkershaw
13/5/2011 10:12 | Very quiet over here. I like the float and main shareholder's reluctuance to sell and more than 60% in a few institutional hands, then what's the plan and the schedule? any thoughts? Any guess what will the finacial results be? They said they are sold out, any comments will be very appreciated. | tony1812
13/5/2011 02:28 | The Biofuel Partnership Limited (BFP) has constructed the 'bioCube', a processing unit that converts commonly-available, oil-bearing fruits like jatropha, palm and rapeseed, into high quality biodiesel. In its standard configuration, the bioCube can produce up to 2,000 litres of international grade biodiesel over a 10 hour period. It offers rural and developing communities the potential to make their own fuel without industrial processes, or replacing food production on arable land. BFP is negotiating purchase orders with several governments, backed by Letters of Credit. Sound familiar? They are even selling in India. I wonder where they got the idea from. It's enough to make you weep! John | john of groats
12/5/2011 17:01 | Seems to be the way jk | volsung
12/5/2011 15:09 | ...and when they're up they're up and when they're down they are down! OK, so it seems there is always a spike up just before the slam down. | jkershaw
12/5/2011 09:54 | Creeping down. Does someone not know something we do? | volsung

21/4/2011 13:58 | I expect a damp squib :) | volsung
21/4/2011 11:37 | Who says they will be "pressurised" - the Govt is obviously behind it. I expect fireworks with this stock shortly. | baldeagle5
21/4/2011 11:25 | Not really baldeagle. Once Lufthansa are pressurised to end their 'experiment' due to environmental and social concerns the bubble bursts. Remember the germans are among the most environmentally aware people on the planet. | volsung
21/4/2011 11:10 | Volsung - that is actually a major positive for D1's, "intend to collect every single jatropha nut in the market..." Well here we are!!!! | baldeagle5
21/4/2011 10:03 | Why jatropha is wrong | volsung
15/4/2011 12:42 | Every share bar none has risk. If you believe otherwise you are on the fast track to the poorhouse | volsung
15/4/2011 11:32 | DOO has no risk at all, All looks good with management effort...3 FOLD when Siemens will ask more....and of course they have signed to supply the FMCG companies. | gdasinv2
14/4/2011 16:59 | Back under 2p within a month. You heard it here first folks! | volsung
12/4/2011 13:49 | gdasinv2 - Cant argue with that but business is about delivery. Speculate on a company that can deliver | jkershaw
12/4/2011 09:17 | They are in a substantial niche market and green energy , worth a punt by Friday. Siemens already signed as a secret news. | gdasinv2
11/4/2011 09:01 | This is all very good news but can DOO deliver the crop? They have only managed 500 tonnes in 6 months. They estimate 1200 tonnes for 2010/11 so have to find 700 tonnes by end of 2010/11 season. Then to make up to the promised 2000 tonnes they must buy from 3rd party. Basic maths = Cash burn £3m x 1.63 = $4.89m 2000 tonnes x $1000 = $2m Shortfall cashflow = $2.89m They are struggling to produce 1200 tonnes without 3rd party and need to produce 4800 tonnes to be cash nutrual...making them a long way off mark So regardless of any conglomorate deals they have to grow more crop! | jkershaw
11/4/2011 08:12 | The company could be huge BID target..with .immense potential very undervalued looking at the Jatropha oil commodity price. | gdasinv2
08/4/2011 12:39 | dont think many have really thought out the potential here... | divinausa1
08/4/2011 12:38 | In the Times today *Deal of the day:* D1 Oils shares soared 48.8% to 3.13p, after revealing that Siemens, the German engineering conglomerate, was trialling its crude oil made from the Jatropha plant to power turbines on a high-speed ferry. The green energy company said that this is one of a trio of potentially significant trials under way by separate multinational businesses. | divinausa1 |
