25/10/2013 07:45 | Morning Dashton, Noticed that - and a company NAV update to 153.1p. Also selling treasury shares for NAV and then buying a few at 146 - nice bit of arbitrage :-) | cockerhoop
25/10/2013 07:41 | An interesting purchase of 8% of Leaf Clean Energy (mainly operating in North America) reported today... Will need to do a bit of investigation into this company. | dashton42
24/10/2013 09:03 | THT Agm today. I suspect Crystal Amber will have a presence there. | jakleeds
14/10/2013 13:24 | Upped their stake in THT again. | crbema
08/10/2013 08:26 | Month end NAV of £1.481, my current estimate (this morning) is £1.467 so dropped of a little with the market. Discount opening up a little. Interesting from the commentary that they are stake building in 5 new companies. | cockerhoop
23/9/2013 10:54 | My current estimate of NAV value is £1.458 so again company buying at a bit of a discount. | cockerhoop
15/9/2013 14:24 | Also Norcos hxxp://www.crystalam Edit: Actually a small reduction. | cockerhoop
14/9/2013 09:18 | CRS has upped its stake in THT: Panmure Gordon has lifted its THT price target to 116p, and Investec has increased its target to 112p. | dashton42
06/9/2013 13:13 | Welcome back! Yes, in theory they'll be splashing out some of that on some larger cap companies now. Wonder who they're running the slide rule over. I like this statement from the RNS dated 26th July: "The Investment Adviser's experience is that an additional benefit of investing in larger companies is that their management may respond more constructively to investors seeking to actively engage in the development of value creation strategies." Them pesky, argumentative small caps! | dashton42
06/9/2013 07:55 | Forgot to mention I make NAV as of last nights close £1.421p | cockerhoop
06/9/2013 07:51 | Hi again Dashton, Back in blighty now, company has beaten me to the month end NAV - it has though allowed me to rebase the spreadsheet with the newly issued shares. A little selling down of TTG and some modest topping up of API and FOUR is all I could see. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the 40p per share that must be burning a hole in their pockets. | cockerhoop
23/8/2013 13:51 | 3 weeks in France - nice. Agree about CRS unearthing some interesting companies; it's a confidence booster when they invest in a co. you already hold too. It'll be interesting to see how their post-placing strategy unfolds, and I guess we should be getting an official nav release in a couple of weeks time. | dashton42
23/8/2013 11:25 | Hi Dashton, Yes i'm still around - I don't currently hold as I think the discount may widen in time. For the last 3 weeks i've been holidaying in France and have lost wifi for the last week so only just starting to catch up with boards I frequent. I do still monitor CRS as they uncover some interesting company ideas and I would invest again if the discount does indeed widen. I'll post a NAV estimate when I get a chance but have limited time online until I return to UK towards the end of the month. Cheers | cockerhoop
07/8/2013 17:14 | Helps to boost the NAV for the issue tomorrow. they get more money for fewer shares. | peter27
07/8/2013 14:02 | They are buying back 225k shares at virtually NAV when they have announced a fundraising?! Brokers will be happy! | newbold120
06/8/2013 17:41 | if this holds at near nav, i will eat my hat. | edwardt
26/7/2013 14:45 | Well, there we are - full details of the placing in a lengthy RNS, along with some tweaks to the management fee due to the size of the enlarged company once it all goes through. Placing to close today, but approval to be sought at an EGM in August. Not much reaction in the share price either way at the moment. | dashton42
05/7/2013 07:55 | Hi Dashton, The only purchase in the Top 10 holdings was SUH from 28.42% to 28.6%, THT holding has remained static at 4.3% but moved above HSD due to share price performance (4.8p NAV v 4.5p NAV at HSD). Updating my model with new data gives end of month NAV of £1.329 which suggests my model accurate but original error was caused by company performance outside of top 10 which apart from HSD and CNKS is is not modelled by me (currently 21.2p of NAV). | cockerhoop
04/7/2013 13:48 | The latest nav rns says that the secondary share issue is still under consideration - i.e. no news yet, and overall nav was 133.05p as at the end of June. Cash and accruals down to 10p per share, "...as the Fund took advantage of recent share price weakness in holdings in which it is currently accumulating positions". Presumably THT was one of these, as it makes it onto this month's top ten holdings, displacing Hansard? | dashton42
29/6/2013 06:38 | And therefore able to issue treasury shares to raised mores capital for investment? | peter27
28/6/2013 23:24 | My end of month NAV is £1.307...........tra | cockerhoop
20/6/2013 17:47 | Investors Chronicle has tipped CRS-held companies SUH and NXR as buys in the last couple of days (the NXR tip is just out), which given that they together account for about 23p of nav, looks to be good news. ps. and is that another buy-back I see lurking in today's trades? | dashton42 |
