Well I compare this to Sound energy, they have double the shares we do in issue, they have approx the same amount of oil in place, but they have only 25% to our 50%, I know we need funds, but surely to give away 20% would cover everything, so 20% to Hallibyurton for a free carry would suit me fine, that would give us 5% more than sound hold, so working on Mkt Cap, we should have double the share price that sound have right now, it's all about Mkt Cap not share price,

Weve have been there many moons ago but Mr Cluff will no doubt have it on a possibility list.....................

What CLNR has to do before the end of this month is give us an up to date report on what he has got "underground offshore" and what he will or hpes to do over the coming months.

As a recent post mentioned the value of this could be millions but it has to come out of the sea bed so at what cost resulting in what profit????

I am not surprised that the share price has responded well this last few weeks. He tempted his friends in the City in....2 brokers did the last placing and to date no one has registed more than 3% except what is shown on the company website.

The recent punters have now doubled their capital and I have passed my 2.5p price forecast.

If all goes well then 5p could be in reach valuing the business at £10m........is that the right price as some punters will want more!!

I've been wondering if some chemical company might be taking an interest. Resources are near UK chemical demand and would give a substantial competitive advantage. Ineos or similar.

Cluff could issue a shed load more shares like PMg did, then consolidate at 12-1 something along those lines, PMg has almost 1 billion shares in issue at one stage now under 100 million.

I don't know much about macro winds, what we need is Media exposure that's what will send this into orbit, but I suspect Cluff wants his mates in first before he makes anymore media statements, I will buy my last 200,000 shares on Monday then that's me done, I don't really like averaging up but it's better than averaging down I suppose,

The price is indicating action is in the offing. The macro winds are behind UCG and its only a matter of time before it gets the exposure it deserves. Done properly this could massively help energy security & balance of payments.

I have said previously on the other thread that i can't see Cluff taking this to production, i also feel this will be sold sooner rather than later, gas is the future in my opinion not oil, saudis are trying to ween themselves off oil reliance, that says it all to me, how long it will take for Cluff to get the right offer? nobody knows, but he is getting too old now and won't be around for much longer i would assume. Clickon, you're welcome, just going to sit patiently and wait, I see there are some posters going mad in the LSE board, ramping the same old thing over and over, it does make me chuckle, but also gets a bit tiring reading the same old bolony, stay lucky

Therealdeal Thank you for the link,Not sure of what he's prioritising apart from 2248 which the one he most wants to drill. I get the feeling that the use of equity is most likelyAnd there is a possibility of Haliburton having a share. If 2248 holds 3TCf then I would want a continuing piece of that action,That would boost the share price enabling the funding of further exploration of assets. Exploration and production costs have reduced and that certainly helps.

Click on what about Halliburton funding the cost of the frill for a stake? Somehow I can't see Algy taking this to production it's too big, I think it will be taken over like Encore Oil was when they made their discoveries,

Makes sense, but Algy has already said that it will inevitably require funding eg an issue of equity, not sure what that would do to the price?

Another important factor no one has mentioned is when Halliburton farm in and take the cost of the drilling this will then be the catalyst to a far higher Mkt value, just like Schlumberger with Sound, that's what has sent Sound up!

So I have done some research on sound energy and what they think they have, they actually do not give a figure on how much gas is beneath them, I find that very strange that the share price has risen on no figures on CPR, they say the CPR should show multiple TCf, well that's just speculation as far as I'm concerned, I think that could be a red herring, this is from Sound energy's website, anyone got a take on it?

The licence already has 4,400 kilometres of 2D seismic and 500 square kilometres of 3D seismic.Preliminary internal estimates of existing discovery volumes suggest significant volumes in place with potential recoverable resources of multiple Tcf across multiple prospects / leads.

CLNR will have the CPR confirming how much gas is under us this month, this should rocket if Sound Energy is anything to go by, good luck to all.

At 257.8 million shares in total he has kept shares in issue low. A good strategy.

Looking at recent SharePrice activity. The fundraise hasn't started yet as the share price wouldn't be moving upward on this volume. There is still a low'ish free float hence the gradual increase. If positive news comes in Sept which re-rates the SP, the dilutive effect of increase in equity would be greatly reduced and anyone getting in at these levels should be chuffed when they see a placing at 6-7p at the end of the year.

Thank you very much that makes perfect sense. Though it would be good to have a definitive statement from the company. In some circumstances I suppose that wouldn't be a good idea! Then there is the cash call.....'.........n the preliminary results statement for the year to 31 December 2015 the Company stated that based on the cash balance at year end, the post year end equity fundraising and the Company's commitments, the Company has adequate financial resources to cover its budgeted exploration and development programme at least until the end of 2016. Based on cash balances at 30 June 2016 and the Company's commitments, the funding position remains unchanged. Further funding will therefore inevitably be required to allow the Company to fully implement its strategy beyond this period and it therefore anticipates that further funds will be raised, most likely by way of equity, as it has successfully done in the past.JG CluffChairman & Chief Executive24 August 2016

Anley, agree totally. As with all small cap explorers sitting on large assets, it's not going to get itself out of the ground and it takes hard cash. Cluff has the contacts and experience to make this happen whereas other smallcaps dilute the hell out of shareholders for years until there's nothing left. Looking at Cluffs short/medium term business and personal goals, I'd say 3.25p is a tad cheap to be letting go. He has to turn these licences into cash by way of revenue or sale. Best case scenario, cash sale of Assett to Chinese. Worse case scenario JVEither one would have a massive impact on SPThis of course doesn't take into account the worse worse case scenario where CLNR try to raise there own funds to go into production. He has already said this isn't going to happen a smallcaps like CLNR just can't raise that kind of cash on their own. So £1m in the bank, no debt, low operating costs, proven acreage, bring on the JV partner as hinted in the DM article.

Clickon............in reply I would just say that "I have been there and done that"......the meaning is that when you have or are facing a big change then you sit down and go through the check list. This is how it was and still is in the City today but when I was Chairman of a small contract farming business and about to merge with the one of the largest one took a long look at how the new board would work together..............I wont go on but will finish by saying that a great deal of capital is required to unlock the gas and Mr Cluff wont and is unable to do this himself so there has to be a deal..........would you not agree.

At over 3.25p I shall start to sell.
