07/12/2015 13:39 | I sold out on the rise from this RNS, I agree that the figures are not strong enough in the current climate. I've accepted a small loss here after more than a year holding. With the moratorium and these figures I think i've been quite unscathed compared to whats happened elsewhere. Pity really as I have a lot of respect for Algy. Good luck everyone. | wordog
04/12/2015 09:05 | Not if you read BAM BAM post and today's price......... WHO IS RIGHT - I wonder?? | anley2
03/12/2015 13:29 | It means the licenses will likely be rescinded when the term ends in 12 months as those numbers aren't strong enough to attract a partner for a drilling commitment In these reports leads and pie-in-the-sky plays can be ignored, prospects are the only bit people look at. There are 2 here both on a license dropped by TrapOil in late 2012 for lack of partner interest when the sector was in a much better place The CNR numbers for the main prospect are a downgrade on Trap's estimate although the smaller prospect is upgraded. There hasn't been any license activity since so it's basically another consultant interpreting the same data slightly differently Prospect .... Trap (CoS) ...Cluff (CoS) Lytham: ... 210Bcf (62%) ...96Bcf (41%) Fairhaven: ..17Bcf (22%) ...36Bcf (26%) all figures P50 (Trap's numbers on page 20) PS. CoS = probability of that Prospective Resource becoming a Contingent Resource | bam bam rubble
03/12/2015 09:34 | So what does this mean? A JV with someone or funding to carry out the finds or something else? | anley2
30/11/2015 10:26 | Henderson that well know investment management business has 9.99%.....biggist shareholder......... | anley2
27/11/2015 09:36 | The governments big planning test about to be unfolded in the Lancashire area and this has a bearing for CLNR and its gas application. | anley2
23/11/2015 17:01 | Well 1m+ shares traded today 600k sell and 500k buys so is Mr Cluff about to make an announcement,,,,,,,, | anley2
23/11/2015 12:43 | This moves on very low volumes, it could really spike on any significant newsflow ever hopeful... | kristini2
21/11/2015 12:15 | I bought a bundle again on Friday but did the brokers? Reading everything I could find on Mrs Rudd's statement on UK energy I am still surprised that all the gas sitting offshore is still not attracting some sort of press comment! With a few more North Sea oilfields to close in Scotland it should not be long before The Lady in Red sees sense and asks for CLNR's gas field to be developed........... As I see it a big PR push + the Haliburton report will make this share swing. | anley2
18/11/2015 19:26 | Algy is the only reason I haven't sold these yet. | wordog
18/11/2015 10:07 | So I have bought some more which is more than the brokers are doing......!!!!! | anley2
18/11/2015 09:32 | Today we have Mrs Rudd the minister telling us GAS will be a big component for her energy policy and the MM marking up the price to 3p........ What is needed is for Mr Cluff to come up with a proposition for CLNR that makes money for the company. Of course that wioll require capital so that too will have to be raised. Its all a bit frustrating but Mr Cluff is a fighter but needs the backing of the current government to help him develop all that gas he has told us about. | anley2
17/11/2015 18:24 | Tell me about it. This CPR better come soon. | wordog
17/11/2015 10:47 | Gosh .......now under 3p and no one wants to talk about the business.........so what happens to the 4.25p share placing? A comment from the company please. | anley2
13/11/2015 15:53 | No, Breagh is fairly new. Was his Bentley? Can't remember to be honest. The exciting thing about the Lytham prospect is that they know it's there so exploration risk is low. It really just depends if there is sufficient information to ascertain its suitability for fracking. Hopefully Halliburton will produce the goods there. | wordog
13/11/2015 13:25 | Indeed WORDOG ......that is most interesting especially as the company will need to get the last subscription at 4.25p back on track so it has the cash to spend on the find. Was the BREAGH field the one Mr Cluff found all those years ago? | anley2
12/11/2015 20:17 | Firstly within the licence area there is a gas discovery made some twenty years ago - long before the advent of hydraulic fracturing. At the time it was felt that given the tight characteristics of the reservoir it was unlikely that the gas would flow at a commercial rate. However, it is indeed fortunate that our relationship is with Halliburton as they are world leaders in offshore hydraulic stimulation (which they have successfully applied on the neighbouring Breagh Field) and we are working together to determine drilling locations for at least two appraisal wells to which we would commit in 2016. Other factors which have justified our decision to apply for these licenses have been the significant improvement in the quality of 3D seismic data together with the revelation that an entirely new potential horizon has emerged in the deeper Carboniferous sandstones. We are now working with our team of consultants to calculate and publish a potential gas in place figure in Q4 2015 prior to determining the location of our first well in this mature basin. Would make for a nice Christmas present. | wordog
30/10/2015 10:54 | North Sea CPR this quarter. Worth waiting for. | wordog
30/10/2015 09:56 | Since my last post there has been a steady drip of sellers and NO support for the price. This sector of the market is shot to pieces and alongside the Scottish problem it is just sit and wait and theat includes Amber Rudd now being positive about fracking and other energy saving matters........... | anley2
15/10/2015 13:55 | Topped up at 3.6p and also discovered 2 large shareholders who have sold during the last 6 months..........I expect they could not wait. | anley2
14/10/2015 10:23 | I'm currently looking across my portfolio to determine where best to raid to fund a top up here. We know we will see news flow in Q4 and early 2016, the share price will rise from these levels. | wordog |
