10/1/2007 14:35 | hopeful of 170p | uplighter
10/1/2007 14:33 | Not John Lee taking profits then is it? Definitely a keen seller around to do this imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/1/2007 11:13 | CTG has been falling on very low trades. Anyone heard anything? Regards Andy Flower | andy flower
09/1/2007 08:28 | From John Lee's article: Turning to the pluses, there have been many good risers and a number of profitable takeovers. Leisure industry services group Christie has had an outstanding year, appreciating from 115p to 260p as the strengths of this hospitality industry services/stocktaker become increasingly recognised as well as the recent comment that profits would be "materially above" market expectations. I first bought Christie at 33p in 2002 - it is now one of my largest holdings. | jakleeds
08/1/2007 11:12 | The drop on Friday was on no sell of any size - 5k was the largest trade. MM's at it again today imo - mark it down and get a few sellers to fill a buy imo. CR | cockneyrebel
05/1/2007 11:04 | it's illiquid. It only takes a couple of moderate sells to get the mm's moving down sharp - but the same happens when there's a couple of moderate buyers too - moves up just as quick. Results April 4 CR | cockneyrebel
05/1/2007 10:25 | that is a big drop! when is trading statement due? | brad1
05/1/2007 10:21 | Blimey - I'm gonna have to add I think. With a tastey strong trading statement under the belt these must get bought up big as the results approach imo. CR | cockneyrebel
03/1/2007 11:06 | Creeping up by stealth - only about 6p from a breakout. CR | cockneyrebel
27/12/2006 12:35 | Cheers. Heard an interesting snnippet last week. CTG has grown earnings for 9 consecutive years with the last two years being in the high teens. If you have a look around the only companies to achieve that sort of reliable earnings growth are trading on fwd PE's of 20 or more like Mears, Majestic Mines, Domino Pizza etc. Reliable earnings growth is valueable. CTG look like they are hardly on a P Eof 16 for the current year, lower for the year ahead. About £6m+ cash on the balance sheet too. CR | cockneyrebel
27/12/2006 12:16 | CR....not ignoring you.Just having ISP problems. Your strategy re shares is sound and I've learned a lot from you. Keep up the good work. T | mistertibbs
21/12/2006 19:41 | Oh well, a bit quiet here again I guess. Look at the chart and the steepening curve up imo. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2006 12:24 | Next leg up is the big one then after that pull back - thought it was too much to do it in one hit. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2006 10:24 | Broker upgrade I suspect. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2006 10:12 | Looking very nice and a new breakout to boot! | roypritchard
21/12/2006 10:05 | break out - through the previous high like a hot knife through butter - £3 has to be on the cards imo - a meagre 7.5% from here. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2006 09:56 | Chester, a man of few words, but certainly has the Midas touch :-) | jakleeds
21/12/2006 09:49 | very nice... | chester

20/12/2006 16:45 | 12p more and it's a breakout. Puters will want to catch it imo CR | cockneyrebel
20/12/2006 16:29 | going well now - I think this willcarry on rising now to the much anticipated results!! | roypritchard |
