UK to open $19.5 million investment fund in Kyrgyzstan

Great Britain will open an investment fund in Kyrgyzstan with a capital of $19.5 million. British Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Nicholas Bowler told at a meeting with journalists.

He invited journalists to the meeting to comment on the recent visit of UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Cameron to the republic.

David Cameron during his visit promised to increase funding for education, business support and investment.

The Ambassador explained that the UK will increase quotas for Kyrgyzstanis to study at its universities and provide English language textbooks for the country’s schools.
In addition to establishing the investment fund, he said, assistance will be provided to improve conditions for British investors. The task of the investment fund will be to support small and medium-sized businesses and women’s entrepreneurship.

Nicholas Bowler said that an agreement has been reached with the Cabinet of Ministers on the construction by a British company of a plant for the production of building fabric in Osh.

Great Britain is interested in the extraction of minerals. British geologists will soon begin work here on digitalizing geological data.

From results, Martin’s last words are encouraging:

“We are a mining company with a global resource inventory of 6.4Moz of gold however with a market capitalisation that, in the Board's view, does not yet reflect this and which serves to highlight the significant upside potential for investors once we secure funding to enable us to eventually move into our first phase of production at Tulkubash."

This week, CGH did not comment on the RNS you are referring to.
From memory, back then, they said the investment was in new shares at 20p!
So, was last year RNS just pumping the share price for some to sell shares above 12p (it was heavily sold on the first day, and after)?

The last RNS does not mention how many investors are interested and if there is any offer to buy us! It says
very little indeed.

Imho The Nomad has told them to stop speculating and give facts. But it seems there is little interest since no new info is given.

All this is just about three / four (?) months before we need to pay the bonds. The Chairman will need to buy the bonds if he wants the company.

Ridiculous 7p now 5pHe1 can 5x baggers Here all the Public Relations campaigns has resulted in around 20m or nearly all placement holders selling out We got the desperate placement participants now selling at effectively a loss due to better interest rates in bank accounts had they held their £20k-50k in a savings account for a few months Disgraceful performance in investors who just played a flip for 10%Almost everyday we get delayed sells after the bell... Why did the market makers take so many sells at 6p ... If there was that much selling pressure you'd think they'd have taken this to 5p from the first 1m sold at 6p but they kept accepting the sells? Now dropping it on lower volume ...

Negotiations for such sums do take an age and regrettably most have to be done in secrecy. They can't disclose things nearing conclusion.

Why they haven't commented on Xiwang for such an age is beyong me though. Perhaps the whole Chinese thing is intertwined so they can't comment on it's parts. Power China must be linked to funders in some way surely.

From Nov 1st :
"The following conditional contracts have been signed with Power Construction Corporation of China Limited, the Kyrgyz subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China International Group Limited ("Power China") for the Tulkubash Gold Project:

• US $82.8 million engineering, procurement, and construction ("EPC") ceiling price contract;

• US $160.1 million for a five-year mining contract; and

• US $7.2 million for a five-year operation and maintenance contract.

The revised capital development costs are now expected to be US $104.2 million, US $11.2 million lower than originally stated in the Company's Bankable Feasibility Study2 which was finalised in May 2021 ("BFS"). The revised capital development cost of US $104.2 million includes the US $82.8 million EPC cost with Power China (which includes $15.2 million in mine development costs), US $16.4 million of owners costs (project management, spares & first fills and pre-production fuel) and US $5.0 million contingency (5% of the total cost of the development, in recognition of the not to exceed ceiling pricing mechanism in the EPC contract).

The Power China agreements are a critical step in the pathway for Chaarat to secure funding, for its Tulkubash Project. All agreements are subject to securing full project funding for Tulkubash and the Company continues to advance discussions with potential investors, including, as previously announced, Xiwang International."

Na, look at the size of raise, seen this countless times l and I'll see a juicy RNS DEC JAN as that's what has bought the £1m new investors for no doubt they'll flip it at 11p

Well, think it clears up one or two things : we are going ahead with the funding next quarter; Mr A is NOT taking the company Private (how would he have persuaded new investors to come in); Xiwang look increasingly unlikely to fulfil their proposal.

Inevitable drop/opportunity, that's what mm's do

Down but certainly not concerned.

I have been buying CGH for quite some time from 25p down to 5p,yet overall down.

At some point the Market will start to value the Immmense Gold assets here
so I remain convinced CGH will become a huge Multi-Bagger,over time.

Overall, the Capitulations in Gold and Silver stocks have been beyond ludicrous
as even some of My Major producer stocks have been down 50%,whether in the UK or Canada, and I daresay that wont be for too long.

I keep scouring my UK Gold picks, but there really aren`t that many truly good story
stocks, which suggests that when Investors pour back into Precious Metal stocks, then
those few will rise fairly quickly.

I have been adding to my Canadian stock Picks, where there are so many truly Good
story stocks battered even worse than the Uk ones, and Silver stocks are at
breathtaking Capitulation, yet Canada is the hunting Ground for Silver stocks.

Hi Pablo

These are challenging times for the share price; the reasons for that, we may only guess.

We don't know if the other company is the one that woke away rather than us, but it seems we wait till the last minute for them

Imho creditors and investors are looking if we will make enough during the rest of the life of the mine to pay the debt and what will be left in the pot for the shareholders. Do you have any number?

From memory, we have struggled to honour the previous repayments, part of the debt was converted into new shares, and we need new payment terms that should be announced soon. The current pressure in the share price indicates that people in the know of what is coming are selling (maybe new shares will be issued to finance the debt).

Investors don't expect much to be left in the pot after we close our Armenian operations; therefore, the growth prospects are key here. From what you are saying, chg has disappointed investors for a long time. The market only believes we have growth prospects if a positive rns arrives soon. The war has a nasty effect on our plans.

I wish I had not invested here.
Given the poor share price, I wish the company would give us some positive news to reverse the graph of the sp

Regards
B.
