assuming costs are not coming down further it is probably making $3m per month over the summer and maybe more.
winter running costs presume will higher and production lower.
mine life extended beyond 2030 with upgrades coming through into 2017
if copper price holds up here profits will increase substantially
nice cash balances going forward and these should increase further as this round of capex draws to a close

It's an important announcement as they are at last showing signs of growing a business beyond Kounrad. Getting one Copper Bay off the ground every 10 years ain't gonna cut it.

looks like it's purchase is a good fit for the existing business
could turn out to be a bargin if it can get the copper out of the ground at the same cost and quantities as existing producing mine.
i wonder whether the Chilean mine will go ahead after DD
or be sold on or put into vehicle
interesting times ahead as cashflow increases again from mine output and upward spike in copper price

it comes down with the copper price but it didn't go up the same amount, that is the market
unless some one knows something we punters don't as usual
a 38% increase in volume this year
lowest cost base in the world nearly for a cooper mine, a listed one anyway
a nice yield
what else could anyone want from a share?

seems weird why the share price has not responded to the recent upsurge in the copper price compared to other miners

On the last conference call they sounded cautious about proceeding with Copper Bay in the current price environment. Perhaps they could get more active within Kazakhstan.

Yes I think it will be about 240p next time copper goes on a charge. But I dispute the call on the management. No doubt they are running one of the most profitable copper projects anywhere. But to prove themselves they need to grow several projects to replace it (which are unlikely to have the same profit margin).

When this listed it was a one project company with 22 years of resources to exploit.
Now it's a one project company with 16 years of resources to exploit.

What value is left when Kounrad is mined out?
Might start to matter when there's less than 10 years to go!

I don't know of a better managed company, I have complete confidence in them. If the copper price improves this will shoot up.

interesting podcast on IC web site
one of the worlds lowest cost producers and long licience, plenty of resources
looks like they want keep dividend going even if they move forward with other projects
separating the two projects completely
maybe they will unload it into another vehicle?
time will tell

I like that Quoted Data note. It seems very well written, unlike some which really just regurgitate RNS'. It forecasts a final dividend, all being well, of 8p, with further rises in 2017. A NAV of 235p. Who knows what value Copper Bay may add :-) as well as the welcome diversification it brings.

This is by far and away the best run company in my entire portfolio. To make these profits given the price of copper is terrific, the dividend is massive, and they still have piles of cash to invest in new projects. What isn't to love? Add to that a civilised BB, and we're in a happy place
