A poor second half for Cenkos then. That's the problem with relying on one big fundraiser a year. Never mind, no doubt they will bounce back. My buy some more if they go much lower.

Civitas was good, but there is little else to celebrate. Anything announced next week is it really for 2016 given the time needed for completion. Will be a poor year. Maybe time to double up if they go a bit lower. No doubt they will bump back with a big deal in 2017 at some point.

Secondary Placing announced yesterday by Inspiration Healthcare Group (IHC) raising £4.15m. Cenkos acting as Nomad/broker...

Secondary Placing -

Result of General Meeting and Open Offer -

"SKIL Ports and Logistics, which is developing a modern port and logistics facility in Navi Mumbai, India, is pleased to announce that all resolutions put to Shareholders in connection with the proposed placing, open offer and subscriptions to raise up to £37.6 million, as announced by the Company on 31 October 2016, were duly passed.

Furthermore, SPL announces that the Open Offer to raise up to £1.6 million closed for acceptances at 11am yesterday and received valid acceptances in respect of 10,017,699 Offer Shares from Qualifying Shareholders (including all applications of Offer Shares applied for under Excess Application Facility). Valid acceptances will be satisfied in full. This figure, 10,017,699 represents take-up of approximately 62.6 per cent. of the Offer Shares, raising £1,001,769.90."

Good spot, keith. It appears we missed the recent Hurricane Energy (HUR) placing. I assume the £47m on the Cenkos website must be their share of the gross proceeds raised (they acted a joint bookrunner alongside Macquarie Capital)?

A modest positive this morning:-

Totally plc (AIM: TLY), the provider of a range of out-of-hospital services to the healthcare sector in the UK, announces that Cenkos Securities plc has been appointed as Joint Corporate Broker to the Company with immediate effect. Following on from posts 2067/2070 Civitas Social Housing REIT (CSH) confirmed on 16/11 that the placing in conjunction with their IPO has been oversubscribed with them raising gross proceeds of £350m after scaling back. They were looking to raise in excess of £250m.

Fundraising of GBP 350m -

Civitas Social Housing PLC ("Civitas" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that as a result of investor interest its IPO has been oversubscribed with demand exceeding the maximum gross proceeds of £350 million. Accordingly, a scaling back exercise has been undertaken with respect to applications received. The Board has resolved to accept gross proceeds under the IPO of £350 million.

Cenkos Securities plc is acting as sole sponsor and financial adviser.

Further to post #2068, confirmation this morning of successful £15.6m placing by GCP Asset Backed Income Fund (GABI) on which Cenkos was acting...

Result of Placing -

Further to the announcement by the Company on 2 November the Board is pleased to announce that 14,964,734 new ordinary shares will be issued at a price of 104.5 pence raising gross proceeds of approximately £15.6 million. The Board is pleased to announce that the Placing has been substantially oversubscribed.

Further to post #2044, Filta Group Holdings (FLTA) have today been admitted to trading on AIM having raised £6.2m gross via placing organised by Cenkos...

Admission and First Day of Dealings -

The placing raised £6.2 million (gross), of which £4.3 million was raised by the Company to enter into new local markets (including Canada and Europe), expand into new product market, including drains and grease trap solutions and as general working capital and £1.9million was raised for a selling shareholder.

Thanks for your post, imranawan. I'm afraid I'm less hopeful than you for H2 in spite of the recently announced fundraisings. Perhaps I prefer to manage my expectations to the downside in an attempt to surprise myself! Still think things are v tough in the sector at present. Not sure when that will change; long term Brexit uncertainty certainly not helping.
