Following on from post 2067, it looks like Civitas Social Housing are looking to raise in excess of £250m at IPO. That is more the size of deal that Cenkos need to be regularly involved with (even if they are sharing the spoils with Zeus Capital this time round)...

Interesting comment in Investors Chronicle article on the current state of the IPO market both in UK & US...

Wheat and chaff in the IPO market -

"According to Dealogic figures, the US market has seen 101 offers so far this year, tracking well behind the 159 in the same period last year, while the value raised has dropped by 38 per cent. The UK has seen 52 offerings (2015 YTD: 63), with the value raised down by 54 per cent..."

Cenkos are acting as sponsor/financial adviser/joint bookrunner to Civitas Social Housing plc who have today announced their intention to float on LSE's Main Market. Looks like they will be raising capital at IPO; details to be announced...

Announcement of Intention to Float -

"Civitas has identified a significant pipeline of potential assets, including a near term opportunity in Specialist Social Homes at a purchase price of circa £60 million."

"A Prospectus setting out the details of the Placing and Offer for Subscription is expected to be approved by the UK Listing Authority today. A copy of the Prospectus will be submitted in due course to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available from the website www.morningstar.co.uk/nsm and also on the Company's website (www.civitasreit.com)."

"Cenkos Securities has been appointed as Sponsor, financial adviser and joint bookrunner to Civitas. Zeus Capital has also been appointed as joint bookrunner to Civitas."

Cenkos are acting for SKIL Ports & Logistics (SPL) on their £36m placing. The placing is not underwritten. Net proceeds c£34.3m.

Placing, Open Offer and Subcriptions -

"The Placing Agreement provides, inter alia, for payment by the Company to Cenkos Securities of commission based on the number of Placing Shares placed by Cenkos Securities multiplied by the Offer Price. The commission payable to Cenkos Securities shall be satisfied, in part, via the issue of the Cenkos Fee Shares to Cenkos Securities (or any affiliate thereof). In addition, 500,000 new Ordinary Shares shall be issued to the Company's other advisers in satisfaction, in part, of the fees payable by the Company in connection with the Transaction."

Cenkos Fee Shares = up to 3,546,284 new Ordinary Shares to be issued to Cenkos Securities in satisfaction, in part, of the commission payable to them by the Company under the Placing Agreement.

Didn't they teach you at school that predicting the future is difficult ... unless you draw a straight line through the current trend.

HARGREAVE HALE LIMITED are bailing - and I would not be surprised if the Ex Employee of Cenkos is also bailing his holding ... so previous support was NAV at 50p ...

Bought a few more today .... will go down to 50p then hold for the post Brexit bounce - hopefully via the Asian office feeding through Asian money to buy up cheap UK assets.

FCA,Should have made the director,s pay and not the shareholders !!! Also I cannot see the next set of results,and profit,s being down 90%.There will be a bottom when all the selling as finished.

Potential clients avoiding like the plague

Been following this a bit. Mix of very poor results and revenues being reduced by 71%. Profits down by over 90%. Hales Hargreaves seem to still be selling here. If they clear out that is nearly 14% of the stock. This is why i suspect the share price is still falling. Someone is trying to sell stock and no one is really buying. 40-50k of buys is nothing. HH have 7.9m shares here.

GLA but sometimes it's better to sell when someone is forcing the share price lower. If 74p is the floor here I will be amazed.

Future revenue and prospects here don't leave much to the imagination since brexit. See what happens.

Could this be the bottom at 74p.Marketmakers put the share price down to 73p to sell,and in come the buyer,s.Now 74.50p to sell,and 77p to buy.

To all CNKS shareholders. I have today put a Limit sell order on my holding in CNKS of £2,to stop Shorter,s from loaning the shares from my broker,which they can do for a fee,without me or you knowing about.I suggest you do the same.

Loss of mandate. Cenkos have been replaced by Beaumont Cornish as Nomad to Xtract Resources (XTR) + Beaufort Securities become sole broker (Cenkos were previously joint broker alongside Beaufort).

Change of Nominated Adviser -

The Board of Xtract Resources Plc ("Xtract" or the "Company") announces that they are pleased to announce the appointment of Beaumont Cornish as Nominated Adviser to the Company with immediate effect.

Beaufort Securities are sole Broker to the Company.
