the podcast could have been a warning to close your shorts and an insight into what is to come for the company....meanwhile some were listening to the view of so called tipster.....any body can claim to be an expert....an expert never gets it wrong....there are no experts in this game....

just drawing parallels to GBO from the sideline where i am thank you very much. No fraud here of course just some minor incompetence and huge valuation for success yet to be delivered.

thats what happens when you take advice off someone not on the front-line of the company...

The suspension really came out of nowhere. I really would not be suprised there are loads of shorts still open, as views are very divided on CEB.

I have an average of 0.65. I think I am fairly ok even if there is a placing!

RE: PlacingsToday 12:33Completely agree nesty. And on here and twitter it's the same question repeatedly. How will they fund it?

It's been answered repeatedly too. We can farm-in relatively cheaply, giving the asset owner:

a) short-term cash (relatively small amount);
b) expertise (and THIS is the most important)
c) funds to develop further

I worked through an example a day or two ago on a well producing 400bopd which could be optimised to 1600bopd using the expertise of the CEB team. The asset owner gives away a 30-40% interest in the well and still ends up almost tripling their stake!

Now, in terms of becoming a cash generating business. Let's consider some numbers.

To begin, assume CEB get a 35% interest in 3 wells producing 400bopd.

420bopd @ $25 profit p/b = $3.8m / £2.5m p.a. or thereabouts.

Then they optimise these wells, so instead of each producing 400bopd, they're producing 1600bopd. CEB interest is now

1680bopd @ $25 profit p/b = $15.1m / £10.1m p.a.

And let's remember here I am considering perhaps only ASSET ONE. What if also we get the one with the gas to be tied in. And the JV with the state.

So yes I think we will raise, add, and see that mcap >£50m quicker than the doubters want you to believe.

The Company has completed a placing of 375,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company (the "Placing Shares") at a price of 0.4p per share, conducted by Cornhill Capital. The gross proceeds of the Placing are £1.5 million, which will be used to provide additional working capital, to implement the Company's investing policy and, if the application is made and is successful, to acquire the oil and gas concessions.

Lmao at this. Sweet Karolina - 26 Oct 2015 - 09:14 - 1014 of 1020 - 1I would expect there will be a new CEO before this returns to trading. It must be fairly doubtful that any of the transactions will go through with him there, after he breached AIM rules so egregiously on Thurs with his insane podcast.

I think the big word 'Placements' has got a stinker name on AIM mainly because the majority of AIM companys are using the facility all for the wrong reasons.

Many AIM company the word 'placement' oftens means to keep gravy train lifestyle for the BOD. When it runs out do another etc.

A placement for enhancing the business and especially purchasing an asset is not a bad thing.

It's just on AIM placing is a dirty word as most pi's have been on the end of a placing for all the wrong reasons!

even if there is a placement, the money raised will go to enhancing the value of ceb manifold, as it invests in the assets in which ceb sees huge potential. It's not a placement to survive but to thrive and with all their experience I'm happy to see ceb rapidly expand its share price multibag in the long term.

Some of the comment's here are laughable.
I think most know there will be a placement. However the upside far outweighs the downside.
Pleased I'm in. Seems like a few sour grapes out there at the moment IMHO
