DompleYes he can buy if he has direct market access. They would be shares you see traded before 7am plucked from the board but if the deal is the cracker we believe it to be , nobody will be giving their stock away cheap.

The RNS states RNS 7am Monday, so Dan The Liar will have to wait til CEB comes out of auction before he can close his short...

Is Dan able to close his short before trading resumes or will he have to wait for the suspension to be lifted which is likely to be after the rns on Monday? if the latter, then he may be nursing a badly charred body!! Ah, bless!

DW on the podcast said holders really need to read between the lines here. We are talking really really, very serious top, top end deals at the highest level. There is making money and there is making money but if you want to send your kids to Eton then back me.

Looks very much as if some news was leaked judging from the chunky buys/L trades which went through just before it was suspended. I'm only speculating here!

Remember the first time this was suspended. It opened up and bagged. This time I would not be surprised if it multi'd on open.

newvest, not surprising you couldn't get a buy quote, there were three L trades of 1million each which went through in quick succession at 10.23am, 10.32 and 10.39. I think the company needed to act quickly and to announce a suspension.
