|thomasthetank1: Read Panmure Gordon & Co's note on CARETECH HOLDINGS, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research-tree.com/company/GB00B0KWHQ09
"CareTech has undergone a transformation over the past nine months; the company has expanded its footprint by 9% through adding 187 new places, improved margins through maintaining good cost control and reduced its gearing through an innovative ground rent transaction. Overall, this has resulted in a 6% upgrade to EPS estimates over the period; we expect this improvement to be reflected in the share price as CareTech delivers 7.6% EPS growth in 2016 rising to 12.5% in 2017. We reiterate..."|
|toonmag50: caretech holdings appears one of the few companies who, after the sell-off of feb 14 simply has not recovered its share price. Every day the price is reducing or stagnant .This company was recommended too me, and I bought at the top price. Silly me- never mind|
|nilip: Update sounds very reassuring and promising imo.
Significantly high capacity of beds and over 90% occupation - now that's impressive by any business standards, surely.
Share price just looks very over sold at current levels.
Company to focus on organic growth from here on - sounds like the right decision by management.
The fall from over 350p to the current level just looks a bit too harsh & ridiculous imo.|
|miavoce: The decision by Suffolk council to outsource virtually all of its services must be a good sign for Caretech.
If other councils follow suit it may well mean a lot more work for Caretech.
The impact of the spending cuts will also drive councils to outsource services too so all in all it make a good story for Caretech prospects.
Wonder if the share price will now stage a recovery.|
|mitzis: Expecting further rises through the year and broker upgrades plus further acquisitions this one is quite a growth share.
Would not be surprised if the share price rises to 400p sometime.|
|bleunose: Slipping down on no news/no interest. As long as we get some soooon i will be happy. Anyone give us some guesses as to end of year share price. I will go with this years aquisitions increasing turnover by 50-75% . I will go for £3.00 end of year.|
|woodsman2004: By way of comparison and an example of what is possible, here are some figures from Care UK Plc (CUK):
First column turnover, second column pre-tax profit. Figs in £m
30-Sep-01 81.24 4.46
30-Sep-02 97.79 4.88
30-Sep-03 114.88 6.27
30-Sep-04 136.07 10.70
30-Sep-05 156.68 12.45
30-Sep-06 176.39 16.80
30-Sep-07 183.76 20.63
Since 2002, the share price has risen from circa £2 to £4.66 today and has been paying divis albeit not at a spectacular yield.
As CTH is starting from a much lower base, if they are successful I would be hopeful that even better share price growth is possible in the long term.|
