500 million barrels, price in the ground 3.5billion value , that's £2.65 billion pound, Exxon would surely take them out, at for example 50% discount equates to £2 share IMHO not often a chance like this comes along check the Warren Irvin interview, he s not seen anything like this in 30 years

Adorling exactly and picking up all the very extensive costs but when the prize could be 2.3bn brls then it's a no brainer.
Biggest drill of the year and it's going to get very exciting :-)

.....probably the best looking technical chart on AIM - everyone in profit now as all time high and we haven't even started drilling what is seen as one of the best and biggest prospects in many a year. Why do Exxon want to get started......? 20p IMO before TD reached.

Yes effiert a massive volume day and why not given that the Liberia drill is a goer. Certainly see north of 12p here and possibly the 15p as you say.

For anyone new looking in, this video (link posted before, but difficult to retrieve without a big search) gives a great introduction. It is also topical for the above discussion on numbers, as Arthur Millholland provides his own estimates of what might be in the ground and the value it could generate.

If we only use a lowly couple of dollars in ground the investment case is still compelling. Exxon seem to want to get this drilled and are stumping up big time on it. They must have a great deal of confidence.

What $ per barrel in the ground are people using baring in mind the wildcat status in 8000ft water, but the best in business taking 83%, contributing $120m and not farming down any of their % pre drill?

TheLung I believe it is 390m brls net to COPL.

Is it P90 of 300m barrels net recoverable to COPL and there are 900m shares fully diluted?

Amazing chart.. Biggest drill to happen in recent years.. Exxon partner and FULLY funded for two drills. Huge COS vs risk/reward. Could be a life changer for many

I think you are right Ride, it is obvious from the minimal amount of posters on here that it is massively off the radar.
Once that changes and the company crank the PR up to drilling and put out our own RNS then we will start to buzz.
Massive target of 2.3bn brls of which we have a fully carried 17% ;-)

I think there may have been a few on the sidelines doubting that this drill would never happen who might want to get in quick now.
