and revenues are increasing..

Cambria Africa (LON:CMB) is both a growth and 'deep value' investment proposition, says house broker WH Ireland.
In a note following yesterday's US$1.4 mln share placing WH Ireland analyst Derren Nathan said that recent trading shows that Cambria's strategy is paying off.

Well gross profits up considerably and one of the investments returning cash. 70% discount to nav.Lonhro out.Starting to look good.If discount not closed then they will realise some of their investments and buy back shares. So there should be increased demand for the shares shortly. Hoping this will come with the audited results later this year.

Taken from todays ZimNRGs statement;

Sadly the investor climate has deteriorated further in recent weeks with statements from senior government figures stating that a compulsory 51% indigenous ownership was now insufficient and it was indicated that beyond 90% would be looked for.

No - the $1.4m loss you refer to is already an adjusted result.

Am I right in thinking that - if one off 'write offs' are ignored (as stated as non recurring) - then the actual profit would have been in the order of $9.4million? ($10.8million of 'write offs' less loss reported $1.4million)
Seems pretty good going forward to me.

Story has not changed here. was always high risk and potentially high reward. For me a tuck away and forget about for 5 years.

They have the cash / finance - hotel business will bring in FX.

In this market tho shorting short term could have success.

But I think Mgmt very interested in moving things forward.

The news here is all very positive and there seems the potential for more news.

Great long term hold with possibility of something short terms - would like to see it a bit perkier though.
