That's because the AB offer is a bargain for BMR holders and I wouldn't bank on AB being unsuccessful with the bid... oh and EVEN if it does fail think of the profile he has now given BMR LOLsss

There is no way any firm offer would pass an MTR shareholder vote. The long and short of this is Alex Borelli won't be involved with MTR for much longer IMO.

Nothing has changed in terms of BMR and all the excitement of 10 50p etc until the surprise.

AB is bright and I don't see him as criminal.

You either trust him and believe in him or not.

It's a buying opportunity only. Selling opportunity was at 7p not 4.5p

Here's a sensible poster

for.....
K - when I said profitable business as a base - I preceded that with "do people really believe we do not have " - If as we are told and I personally believe - A) We have x amounts of assets within the tailings at Kabwe - B) We have a preliminary test which shows by using method W we can extract Lb Zn and V from those tailings and can increase ZN by using product from Star Zinc - C) We have money in the bank to ensure A + B can be proven
Then we will have a profitable business to base our future upon,

Granted I may be viewing my utopia through some very nice rose tinted glasses, however, I have invested a (relatively speaking) lot of money in here so I now having listened to AB at previous presentations, read his RNS and came to the conclusion he is more business savvy than me and I therefore accept the risk of investing my hard earned into the company and as a result accept what he is doing will be for the LONG TERM benefit of the company and its shareholders.

I look forward to seeing what Monday to Wednesday bring.

If shareholders don't like it they can reject and boot AB as well....if there's any brain and backbone PMSL

Well that is the Davis shaft stuck right up us. Any views QS? I'd rather appreciate a considered reply, as this has rather curtailed my view of the city and its antics. It looks to me like MTR is being bailed out, we will once again be saddled with a hotch potch of assets, only these are scattered accross the four shores. Not a happy bunny, but this is 2016.

Stav, just as the glint of sunshine started to brighten our darkest days. I thought for once the vision of the Kabwe clean up and a few coppers(lol) in the bank was on its way.

Says it all lol, not for weak ears

Stav. I was the one told you to get out from under MA back in 2011 (I think it was 2011 ! - time has passed) I did so above 5p (old money). Now, it seems, BMR's recovery from the ashes is to be snuffed out by the wet blanket mish-mash of funding committments that is MTR. But maybe too late to get out from under AB (the MA curse still). But he has to be grilled hard as to whether MTR is running out of cash and needs BMR's, and what has happened to all those 'profitable' warrants MTR was expecting to cash in (on eg Kibo). But with the incestuous MTR/Mining Maven/BMR links I expect this is a done deal.

Feel sorry for holders here as the "cancer" Mtr eats away here. Monday will be painful as I know a few people who regardless of what's announced are dumping their holdings here which are substabtial

Stitch-up or good deal for both co's? Lot to come out yet but the timing of the announcements, and with scoping study release for MTR 30% holding in MOD's copper asset only days away, it all seems very murky.

I doubt anyone would buy us out until we are in production and showing a profit first. By that time they will have to pay a fair value and it won't be that cheap.

STAV

my view is a cheapish takeout in time.

I don't see AB sticking around for these crazy 50p SPs you see being talked about. He is giving away as much of the company as possible at the moment whilst talking up the potential and broker notes so I don't think he'll be shy to say he is selling us 'in the interest of shareholders.'

AB etc should be rewarded through a ladder of priced options completely aligned to the BMR share price.

Anything less and you lot run the risk.

I'm not convinced by words in AIM RNS'S

LOLsss

Agreed Stav, this is a great opportunity as things stand. Very much looking forward to further updates before we hit production.

I have been invested for over 4 years, thankfully I didn't have a great deal invested before the decimation. Recently I have been a big buyer around the 6-7p mark. Anyone with entry around these levels should see massive upside in the share price in time. My thoughts at the moment are not to sell any until this hits at least 50p - time will tell!

Back with a bang Stav and a clear cut observation of our current position. Whilst we build towards production and receive the updates, the narrative will fall into place. Your use of the word decimated is factually correct lol

Fairly recent, the propulsion through the ranks QS, so I'm hoping he has a succession plan. I was a bit miffed with the MTR appointment, as MTR looks like a disjointed labyrinth of projects, just the kind of beast to absorb time. Hopefully he has a team of decision makers he can rely on and is not prone to micro management. It appears as though he is team building at BMR and there is progress accross a number of fronts. AB should be able to conduct and orchestrate through to production. The key decisions have been made and now he has to apply the pressure to completion on his team.

Now we wait for the plant production forecasts and revenue projections. Any finds at Kabwe, Star completion and prospecting. And he may still be hunting down the fugitives of the failed BMR under Mr Magoo. His demeanour in the RNS scribings is now wrapped in a confidence blanket and it seems he has a few more cards in his hand to lift the share price above the warrant price.

We are still an attractive debt free proposition with an assortment of bling to catch the eye.

You know I rate AB.

At the next AGM shareholders really should press for AB to either commit to BMR or find a replacement or support leader. So demonstrate how he can commit more time (not the same or less) to BMR. What he's taken on in positions recently should concern every investor.

He's diluted his focus and his time by taking on new positions during his tenure. He gets multiple earnings from those roles. His hunger one might argue has not lessened but his available capacity has and AB and the success of BMR are no longer totally aligned.

I've not seen any more director purchases. I've not seen renumeration dropped reflecting capacity or indeed greater alignment of renumeration to share price and results.

Nor am I saying he's done anything other than a brilliant job so far. He certainly has done an excellent job. Nevertheless it's an issue now because the workload is ramping and his time on BMR is less. I'm keen to sort before we see consequences.

He's a great front man and leader. Jeremy is good at what he does but he's not by any stretch a replacement.

LB plus the other big PI shareholder need to press this well before the AGM and get something sorted in the non public arena or it will become public and uncomfortable LOLsss

Stav - I hope you enjoyed your trip, well I'm assuming you are back. There is no indication these days as to where any individual is. A bit like BMR lol. Whilst we hope BMR have their ambitions firmly fixed on Kabwe, it appears we have a roving eye and do not have the moral fortitude to stop us flirting with other attractive prospects.

There appears to be a will now, a plan and the tools. Any timelines can be open to operational, political and human effects. We are so near now. We can actually make a good fist of this. In fact it could be us flying like a Butterfly and stinging like a Bee.
