I remember when these were 70p per share. The mine is still there so in terms of "reality" - not much has really changed. I can't believe Parrys would become a white elephant. What about zinc?

I hate to say I agree with you, looks like another write off for the tax return I'm afraid.

dai,

Only until the cash runs out!

This looks terminally doomed now.

You do have to wonder why they spent money on a booth at the recent Mines and Money show? Apparently they cost in the region of £8,000 for the show,(some got last minute discounts) and what did they get out if it?

I suspect they won't be alive to attend next year's show.

I don't see any value ever being realised here, no point in a fundraising, it will only go on director fees for another few years of promises.

knicol46,

"Included in this year's figure was GBP167,256 in respect of expenses in connection with the acquisition of the Grangesberg investment (2014 - nil). "

---

So realistically they are burning £188,000 PA,or around £500 per day.

Given the year end was 122 days ago, I guess around £60,000 could already have been burned, so not a great deal possibly remaining in the kitty at this point.

A fire sale financing looks on the cards, but at what price could they get it away at?

0.05p at best, IMO.

Very sad, I always anted to see Parys Mountain brought back into production, but I guess Anglesey won't be the one to do it.

sleveen,

Exactly!

Quite disgraceful, this practice should be stopped.

They need to introduce a rule regarding results coming out at 7 am only.

Anglesey looks doomed now, IMO.

Share Price collapsing..

Given the cash position of the group at the year end, the net current assets of £6,293, the net cash outflows since the year end, and the projected net cash outflows for the net 12 months there is a potential material uncertainty that the group does not have sufficient cash or other financial resources to continue in operation for at least 12 months from the date of authorising these financial statements.

In fact the website states:

"Until June 2015, Anglesey has control and an option to acquire 51% of the project."

and

"At the same time we negotiated a 12 month option to acquire 51% of the enlarged share capital of GIAB for the issue of new ordinary shares of Anglesey to the value of US$1.75 million priced at a minimum of 3.375 pence per share"

So are we seeing either a fortuitous blip to 3.375p or the effect of rising zinc prices?

Good point - from the 29/5/14 RNS:

"At the same time Anglesey has negotiated a 12 month evaluation option to acquire 51% of the enlarged share capital of GIAB for the issue of new ordinary shares of Anglesey."
