11/12/2015 09:09 | Is a good buying opportunity, as the m/c valutaion barely covers the Kiliwani asset, assigning USD0 to everything else. I would top up if I had some extra CF. New Minister of Energy just named yesterday which is a positive, ie now they have someone to sign the paperwork. BLVN will sign the deal as all E&P companies in this space need to show revenue, and they don't have anything else in the near term (Cameroon is a ways off still) Vike | vike1
11/12/2015 08:22 | There we go, now their reporting it correctly. Gonna be big drive up in price here. No reason for the drop and news could come any day. | duxy786
11/12/2015 08:11 | Nice bit of buying.....deliberat | duxy786
11/12/2015 08:07 | in what respect is the company in a much better position now than it was a few months ago? They have imo basically got a very bad deal on their assets and the GSA doesn't appear to be any closer despite repeated bull from management about the timing if said agreement. Bowleven may be worth buying imo if you believe that they can exploit the assets........... | thecynical1
11/12/2015 07:34 | Further to yesterday's mention of 'many lines'...we're now on the 50% Fibonacci retracement level which is coincident with gap support from September 2014. Holding on (to my shares) for grim life, for now, and hoping for a bounce...leaving a bit of breathing space for the 'imminent'. Log scale daily bar chart (RSI): | marnewton
10/12/2015 16:57 | Thanks for that link qackers. So Muhongo is back at Energy which will raise quite a few Tanzanian eyebrows given that he was one of the casualties driven to resign in the 306bn/- Tegata escrow account scandal. While vehemently denying any actual involvement, his ministry, among other, did give clearance for the 306bn/- shilling held in the account to be handed over to Pan African Power. His return will, I guess, be welcomed by the Aminex gang given that they have had long term dealings with him previously so he will be a known quantity. He is also an academic geologist. | warbaby43
10/12/2015 16:17 | THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2015 Magufuli unveils cabinet, four ministries still vacant Cannot copy and paste. Some progress I guess | qackers
10/12/2015 16:10 | Back to my post 54987 and the Daily News piece from 7th December which contained this "promise" from the boss of Tanesco - "another 130mw is expected from natural gas sources between now and January 2016" If that 130MW of electricity does materialize then almost certainly the bulk of it will come from the new Kinyerezi I plant which KN-1 will feed, in which case it is just possible that the GSA and KN-1 production is indeed "imminent." (And that is a sentence which, believe me, took a lot of bottle to write and nobody will be more gobsmacked if it does actually happen.) Also to bear in mind that while this will be big news for Aminex etc, it will also be a very big deal for TPDC and the Tanzanian government with KN-1 being the first new source of gas for a considerable time. It will therefore be treated as a huge news item by the Tanzanian media and as the recently elected president appears to be the new Black Blair with his addiction to photo ops his presence at KN-1 would be no real surprise. | warbaby43
10/12/2015 16:06 | Hi Peter thanks for your input so you are basically saying stay put? Regards J | juuunx2
10/12/2015 15:40 | surely with Bowleven in now they must also believe that something is about to emerge or am I missing something? No, I don't think you are. Either there is information out there most of us don't know about, or the market is missing something. The company is in a much better position now than it was at the start of Dec from everything we know and there's been no marked change in volume over the last few days of falls, so I'm inclined to believe the latter. Peter | greyingsurfer
10/12/2015 15:32 | Hey guys I realise that Mr Bhatiminent may be unconvincing but surely with Bowleven in now they must also believe that something is about to emerge or am I missing something? I sold half my holding around a month ago but still in here with quite a loss. Do I hang it out when we are so close or cut and run? AhI wish I knew... | juuunx2
10/12/2015 15:07 | DL thinks it's a 100 bagger - £2.8 BILLION market cap based on what? He must be on something....ridicul | nerdofsteel

10/12/2015 12:02 | Dave Lenigas 'implying' he has a personal holding in AEX, thinks its a x100 bagger. I stopped bothering with what Lenigas says a long time ago. Peter | greyingsurfer
10/12/2015 11:49 | Dave Lenigas 'implying' he has a personal holding in AEX, thinks its a x100 bagger. Problem being he didn't say x100 bag from where. Any views GJ? | pj 1

10/12/2015 09:47 | Do we have debt concerns now? I wouldn't really know. And there's loads of chart support. The question is, will it hold? Much of this is sector/market...will we have a Christmas rally? It might even start today, oil included, he said with his rose tinted specs on. Anyway...I'm off out for my second breakfast after a smashing gap trade this morning. Ta ta for now. M | marnewton
10/12/2015 09:36 | Yes, clutching at straws. Try looking at the chart of any company moving towards debt maturity with little obvious means to pay, especially if the BLVN deal doesn't complete (a falling share price probably does not help and no minister in situ?). For some hints, try GLEN, LOND, AMI, LMI and PDL. You get these sharp, neverending freefalls as debt concerns take over. Charts are meaningless in these cases. IMO, that is what we are starting to see here as Aminex falls into the zone of no support between 1p and 1.5p | dan_the_epic
10/12/2015 09:30 | That large (bearish - usually) descending triangle from September 2014 has never been a good omen. Within it we've had an ascending channel which ultimately failed on the descending line of the large triangle. And now we're in a descending channel from May this year. The good news is - and there isn't much - we are now at the bottom of that descending channel which is near coincident with the rising (nascent) trendline from April 2014. There is also gap support from September 2014. And numerous oversold indicators. So, plenty of lines!¬) I'm not rushing to sell...just yet. Am I clutching at straws? What does imminent mean?¬) M | marnewton
10/12/2015 09:05 | Just a flesh wound Skinwalker. Can barely feel it actually. In fact, what fall? | bunbooster2 |
