29/3/2016 20:10 | If Trump wins and carries out his threat of banning the importation of Saudi oil, until they stop financing ISIS, what would happen to the price? Given that the US is now self-sufficient, his threat would shake-up the Kingdom a bit. | hooley
23/3/2016 16:37 | Thanks bend1pa hope s bend does not await. Chart shows a hesitation below 500, she's sprung down, oops. Still suggesting a divi but a traders plaything, maybe healthy sign. Small bounce at close. LMI also 11% down another traders stock. djgrantb see corlis on AAL for gapping info. | edjge2
23/3/2016 15:55 | It caught a cold because AMFW have very high debt levels. Taken with many oilies in potential trouble and fall-out in rig work they were in serious doo-doo. However they were recently given some breathing space by their bankers extending their loans and timeframe for repayment. Either the bankers have confidence or consider them too big a risk to fail. Big fall today though (>8% atm) which isn't unusual a movement for AMFW. Rights issue on the cards? | bend1pa
23/3/2016 15:35 | Cheers edjge2 but most shares go up and down, some sharper than others, how can you gauge a gaps to be filled at a certain point? AMFW has become a day traders stock since the takeover of Foster Wheeler and the drop from £10+/profits warning, this is a good well run company the share price is being manipulated by short traders. Finance report is fine and has been out a while, it's now in the archives. | djgrantb
18/3/2016 18:38 | Hi Gucci, been trading shares for 35+years, don't understand this gaps @ business, perhaps you can enlighten me/point me in the right direction, I thought shares just went up and down according to buyer/sellers? | djgrantb

14/3/2016 21:14 | O?T sharw just going to ignore 10 option to update until it dies. Mine due now. Thanks for link. Got an old XP too as runs faster with less resource and IS suffering some microsoft updates too. No potential resistance until 700 odd on the chart so could rise fast and a gap there but yes could try a double bottom formation. Divi meanwhile during fun. Heard some playing volatile currency market instead. | edjge2
11/3/2016 17:03 | Well Monday may make me a hero or a zero, closed all positions at a loss but relieved. | finess
10/3/2016 12:32 | O/T glad I'm not the only one fed up with Windows 10 'please update' popups. Here's why you shouldn't: | sharw
10/3/2016 12:09 | M crescent sure looks like it. Could be just a bit of business shenanigans. unearthed by audit. Looks pretty strong outfit and divi not bad. Poxy windows 10 threatening update or would have got it below 470! Personally think oil will not retrace to WTI 28, but when Deutsche collapses could be interesting. | edjge2
10/3/2016 10:05 | Kent Masters may be in the frame for CEO | mornington crescent
10/3/2016 10:00 | what caught my eye FW has been consolidated with Goodwill of £1726m (more to that than meets the eye) and a £5m loss incurred following an unauthorised payment made from the Australian business and not expected to be recovered somebody been a bad boy ? | mornington crescent
10/3/2016 09:44 | blasted windows 10 update threatened and diverted me so will need to wait for a retrace. Good value first thing. Weird sellers. | edjge2
10/3/2016 08:26 | Yes. Pretty good. No CEO, but one assumes having a bean counter in charge might do them some good. Halving debt seems ambitious though... | zcaprd7
10/3/2016 08:06 | update looks OK to me | edjge2
08/3/2016 19:19 | Hardly of concern. They have been trading in AMFW frequently. Eg on the 8th Feb they sold to below 5%, then on the 11th Feb they bought shares to above 5%. Now they've sold to below 5% again. They are just profit taking which is sensible. | bend1pa |
