07/11/2016 08:56 | A couple of new videos: | melf
07/11/2016 08:49 | Yep sorry too much made of scsw it is just noise. They took part profits and their current holding of ALT is still one of the largest in their portfolio I believe even after selling a few. Would have been a bit unbalanced had they not taken any profits. Not good re:Hallet but shouldn't affect this too much imho. | allstar4eva
07/11/2016 08:49 | Well done nw99 --- I got a few more at 62 | ddav
07/11/2016 08:46 | I did mention 60p was may target to buy on the chart a few weeks back I am back in now | nw99
07/11/2016 08:40 | Interesting happenings at Redcentric this morning - Peter Hallet used to be CFO there. There have been misstatements in their accounts going back several years. The company's shares have lost 66% of their value this morning. This won't reflect well on him. However, he has a non-exec role with Altitude so shouldn't have any affect on us methinks. Still - not good. | melf
07/11/2016 08:40 | They are holding 20,000 | ddav
07/11/2016 08:23 | Good buying op this.morning imo. Acsw took some profits at £1 not 65p! | allstar4eva
07/11/2016 08:14 | Sorry SH - that was my mistake in the interpretation of the video. | ihatemms
06/11/2016 22:33 | Where do you get 20% from was my question. | sheep_herder
06/11/2016 21:28 | Snap ihate.....we must have done something bad in a previous life! | melf
06/11/2016 20:31 | Hi guys- I'm fully aware of margins, costs etc as I'm a qualified accountant for my sins. The answer is we don't know that info unless we have a copy of their accounts. | ihatemms
06/11/2016 19:41 | SH is saying of the 100% that the customer pays, 40% goes to the distributor as their share and so the remaining 60% is Aprinta's share. However, of the 60% we don't know what Aprinta's costs are and therefore we can't work out their GP. So for instance. If they get an order for $1,000. $400 is the distributor's commission and $600 is Aprinta's share but the question is what we're Aprinta's cost of that sale? Without knowing that we can't work out the GP. | melf
06/11/2016 18:42 | Sh- we don't know the shipping costs etc. That's why I reduced the margin to 15% rather than 20%, giving Alt 7.5%. It's all estimates but I'm just trying to use the only info we have. | ihatemms
06/11/2016 17:11 | ihatemms - I don't follow what you say about gross margins. There isn't enough info to work it out. The video states the distributor gets 40% margin but we don't know the product costs or the printing/shipping/et | sheep_herder
06/11/2016 16:54 | Yes - I think it could be double this. The revenue for Aprinta works out about $3000 per distributor per annum but SCSW calculated about $6000 per annum in their original article as a result of I suspect a lot more business via click to ship. It explains why directors and others in the know ( Simon Taylor)are so keen to accumulate/ retain shares | ihatemms
06/11/2016 15:44 | "The link below gives the Aprinta revenue for 2015 as $118m." ihate, dont you think that with the new ALT software this cd be much much much higher? | the patient investor
06/11/2016 13:10 | The link below gives the Aprinta revenue for 2015 as $118m. Using a margin of say 7.5% for Altitude (as mentioned in my email above) you get revenue fot Altitude of $9m ( roughly £7m)- say £6m drops to the bottom line. Say corporate tax of 20% . This leaves earnings of circa £4.8m. That equates to eps of circa 11p per share. This is for the Aprinta contract alone. All this assumes there won 't be the expected huge increase in volume expected from the new click to ship solution- so actuals could be much higher. hxxps://www.asicentr | ihatemms
06/11/2016 07:09 | Ian, thx for the video unbelievably easy software to use, it is bound to be an amazing success | the patient investor
06/11/2016 07:03 | And dont forget it is a recurring income without ALT doing anything. It is ALL on APRINTA doing the work and ALT pocketing the profit | the patient investor
05/11/2016 23:12 | Thanks ihate. Now we can start doing some sums although I must reiterate that we only have it from scsw that the GP split is 50:50 with Aprinta. We have never heard this directly from the ALT. | melf
05/11/2016 22:59 | Okay just listened to the Aprinta website management video on you tube. At 10mins 45 seconds into the video it reiterates that the distributor margin is 40% but Aprinta will charge the distributor 60% of the order value. So now we know Aprinta's margin is 20% . Hence Altitude's margin will be circa 10%(prob. more like 7-8% to be conservative) not bad at all when you consider it will be all pure profit- in fact it's excellent when you consider all the business that will go through this new ecommerce solution. | ihatemms
05/11/2016 22:20 | melf, thanks ihate, great idea the cheeky f-u ! | the patient investor
05/11/2016 21:33 | Thanks for sharing Melf. This vid is interesting - shows how easy it is for a Distributor to set up a branded website for one of their customers: | ianfnelson76 |
