12/2/2015 02:06 | zeebi..why would you edit your earlier posts and remove the following statement? Zeebi 10 Feb'15 - 10:38 - 29 of 29 0 0 "Anyone seen that news this morning ? a canadian company almost identical to ALR has just been bought for the equivalent of 15 times ALR,s market cap and they have no revenue or any patents.Makes you wonder what this could be worth? I see the secretary of state for energy is making a statement this thursday on Green Street Lighting,as ALR is one of very few players in this market there is a good chance of some chunky orders around the corner. That distribution agreement they just signed is now making alot of sense!" I have had a good look around and the only takeover of sorts that I can see is that of canadian company lumenpulse taking over Ariane controls. lumenpulse are capped at 400 million canadian but have sales of 100 mil a year. looking forward to hearing what Ed our energy secretary has to say tomorrow. | scyther

11/2/2015 11:54 | seems some are in a rush to exit. lets see what the environment minister says tomorrow on council lighting and costs. lets not forget that the beauty of the distribution deal signed last month is that councils dont need the money upfront. "GSL's financial model will enable local authorities to exchange non-LED lights for more efficient LED lights without having to find the capital cost of the replacement lights." | scyther

Been doing some research as I see the comments re tomorrows possible statement from the Environment Minister, but pretty much every council district I look at seems to have a strategy in place regards LED lighting...Many dating back to early last year. Will tomorrows statement have a significant bearing on this i.e., is it a mandate that will force a speeding up of investment...? Reply | Recommend | Report scyther Posts: 708 Off Topic Opinion: No Opinion Price: 0.13 short attention spans Today 11:38 people these days really have short attention spans, we have the environment minister speaking tomorrow and the possibility of councils speeding up their switch to led street lighting and yet people sell less than a day after buying in for the very reason | moreforus
