Posted at 08/4/2015 17:33 by loverat Perhaps he should have put his £100 in ALR and tried to trade a way out of his losses on CCE and SRB.Stockologist 16 Sep'13 - 15:24 - 7691 of 7693 0 0 My £100 pop in this has become £50 but I'd be minded to put another £100 in here to bring my average down and presumably they have a real plan for this before this tranche |

Loverat 11 Feb'15 - 09:05 - 490579 of 490907 1 0 ALR - looks interesting and might spike if interest does not wane. Loverat 17 Mar'15 - 16:56 - 496164 of 496164 0 0 So, that was the negative - what positives are there? ALR with Charts & News - ALR Loverat - 26 Mar 2015 - 12:47:35 - 134 of 173 Just a matter of time before the herd latch on to this one. We have seen other stocks multibag. Another Darwin overhang play - just like GSR which four bagged in a few days. |

I never bought ALR. I watched the posts and used it to improve my trading in general. So I never pumped and dumped. With imaginery trades I would have done well here. With the trading patterns I would have sold before the RNS. There are many pump and dump shares out there. Buyer beware and DYOR come to mind. You must take everything with a pinch of salt. If someone says 25 bagger think that it may double if you are lucky. But beware who makes the claim. Look /know what their previous record is. It is likely to point you in the right direction. Hope this helps. |

Posted at 02/4/2015 08:35 by andrbea If they got just one contract it could solve the loan note situation in a thrice IMO. It's up to Green Section Ltd to cut the deal, not alr, so the fact that alr is struggling financially should not be a big factor IMO. 100 councils in the UK want to switch to LED street lighting, it's up to GS to do a deal.Besides, ALR do have a ceo with deep pockets who has supported them these past 5 years with big cash injections, reckon he won't stop now. |

He was also bigging up the UK Green Investment Bank report. Reply | Recommend 1 | Report |
Posted at 27/3/2015 08:51 by andrbea So why aren't Green Section Ltd (and alr) getting the odd contract here and there? 100 UK councils want the stuff. Street lamp programs are being funded, left, right and centre. Why no contracts yet? Like someone said, just one contract would wipe away that Darwin loan, and the share price could ROCKET back to where it should be. The ALR Board have to issue some news, of how their negotations with councils are progressing. The silence is deafening.......... |

Posted at 12/2/2015 02:06 by scyther zeebi..why would you edit your earlier posts and remove the following statement?Zeebi 10 Feb'15 - 10:38 - 29 of 29 0 0 "Anyone seen that news this morning ? a canadian company almost identical to ALR has just been bought for the equivalent of 15 times ALR,s market cap and they have no revenue or any patents.Makes you wonder what this could be worth? I see the secretary of state for energy is making a statement this thursday on Green Street Lighting,as ALR is one of very few players in this market there is a good chance of some chunky orders around the corner. That distribution agreement they just signed is now making alot of sense!" I have had a good look around and the only takeover of sorts that I can see is that of canadian company lumenpulse taking over Ariane controls. lumenpulse are capped at 400 million canadian but have sales of 100 mil a year. looking forward to hearing what Ed our energy secretary has to say tomorrow. |
