08/4/2015 17:33 | Perhaps he should have put his £100 in ALR and tried to trade a way out of his losses on CCE and SRB. Stockologist 16 Sep'13 - 15:24 - 7691 of 7693 0 0 My £100 pop in this has become £50 but I'd be minded to put another £100 in here to bring my average down and presumably they have a real plan for this before this tranche | loverat

08/4/2015 13:14 | and having pumped it himself at 0.20p since when it only went down and down... he says this when it had fallen another 90% and been suspended Loverat - 07 Apr 2015 - 18:28:57 - 165 of 173 LOL This was not a pump. Simply a trading opportunity and the share price looked interesting having fallen by 95%. It did not work out that way. The RNS warning of suspension was about the clearest I have seen on any company. Anyone who bought based on mention on a trading thread would have been able to buy at very low levels and still had time to get out with minimal loss following the warning RNS. And there will be those who successfully traded a profit on the spikes. Sour grapes if you got too greedy and did not take action to minimise your losses. | the stigologist
08/4/2015 13:13 | the loverat ALR fail in full 0.20p to 0.02p to Suspension all in one month... Loverat 11 Feb'15 - 09:05 - 490579 of 490907 1 0 ALR - looks interesting and might spike if interest does not wane. Loverat 17 Mar'15 - 16:56 - 496164 of 496164 0 0 So, that was the negative - what positives are there? ALR with Charts & News - ALR Loverat - 26 Mar 2015 - 12:47:35 - 134 of 173 Just a matter of time before the herd latch on to this one. We have seen other stocks multibag. Another Darwin overhang play - just like GSR which four bagged in a few days. | the stigologist
08/4/2015 08:24 | Splish 'I never held the shares so I am not at a loss. But both of you pump & dump. Obviously you must get caught out sometimes.' I never posted on ALR. I never bought ALR. I watched the posts and used it to improve my trading in general. So I never pumped and dumped. With imaginery trades I would have done well here. With the trading patterns I would have sold before the RNS. There are many pump and dump shares out there. Buyer beware and DYOR come to mind. You must take everything with a pinch of salt. If someone says 25 bagger think that it may double if you are lucky. But beware who makes the claim. Look /know what their previous record is. It is likely to point you in the right direction. Hope this helps. | dosser2
08/4/2015 05:37 | Well, sorry Splish but I did not have my magic crystal ball available that day. The share price fell extremely quickly and heavily over a relatively short period. In the majority of cases there would be a large bounce. On this occasion the RNS killed that and that was the time to cut your losses. Yes, in percentage terms the loss might have been quite big but you don't put large sums into a falling share or one which is risky. All the posts made were simply highlighting a stock for a potential bounce. Some people did make a profit. The RNS could not reasonably be predicted except in general terms of this being a risky falling stock. This was a potentially 25 bagger and I could name several recent examples of dog shares like this which have multi-bagged. Given the number of potential opportunities on AIM for large moves, yes I don't manage a profit from every situation. That's the nature of the market and thats why the CR thread is called a TRADING thread - not a thread for selecting SIPP shares. The distinction is quite important. Hope that helps. | loverat
07/4/2015 22:34 | Loverat & Dosser. More lies, no matter what spin you put on it.It was not possible to sell without a big loss after the RNS. And what have you both to say about TOPINFO telling people it will be a 25 bagger. I never held the shares so I am not at a loss. But both of you pump & dump. Obviously you must get caught out sometimes | splish6

07/4/2015 19:07 | Quite right loverat. There were numerous opportunities to make money on this share. It dropped slowly and any stop loss would have stopped you losing a packet. You cannot compare this to one bad robot pumps which require lots of luck, 4 or 5 hours of attention and level 2 to make a profit before the big dump. Then you can get a bunch sucked in. | dosser2 |
