20/4/2010 17:36 | Quite possible, I bet there's a load on their knees. Will they get it before APG get acquired tho? I can't see how APG bon't get taken out - Carpetright and United Carpets both doing beds now - if either of those two want to get their margins up then buying a bed manufacture has to be the way to go - and beds are saving them at the moment. If they paid 50p a share that would only be £12m. They pay the pension off with the cash, get £12m in property assets and an earnings enhancing £1.2m additional profit a year. APG cannot stay independent on this valuation imo. Chart's making a nice curve round now tho - reckon these are on the up from here CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2010 16:59 | heard a rumour they were looking at another upholstery business, any news about? | newbe
17/4/2010 16:43 | Dreams in the Times today - profits up 36%. "Dreams attributes part of the resiliance during the recession to the fact that the sale of beds are not dependent on the housing market - when people move they need carpets, curtains and kitchens but they tend to take their old bed with them." CR | cockneyrebel
13/4/2010 21:24 | I looked back through the RNS's and I think the one in 08 was a bit of a one off now. I'm happy to wait for the results to be honest - APG are not big on trumpet fanfares most of the time so I'm not banking on a t/s looking through the history. Results will be worth waiting for tho imo. Cr | cockneyrebel

30/3/2010 10:37 | we may get some news from the co this week as year end approaches - if we do, could this be the catalyst for some (upward) activity? | ashotinthedark
30/3/2010 09:08 | With WGB surging of late surely it is APG's turn by now? | greek islander

08/3/2010 15:04 | Mark up this am was on no trades so the mm's are obviously trying to fill a buy order imo by moving the price up. The fall has been on no volume as you say - I've been a happy buyer since Jan when this also fell prior to that on diddy squat volume too. When these put out their trading statement in July they doubled in a couple of days. punters sit out there, see a tick down and let their little minds get carried away thinking a stock that's falling must mean bad news - actually it just means illiquidity as it did last summer imo. Overnight one bagger potential here imo. CR | cockneyrebel
07/3/2010 12:50 | :-) I think you better be in before the t/s myself. imo CR | cockneyrebel |
