07/2/2010 22:30 | looking at the chart the stock is about to retest 20p, with little interest around it may test that level sooner rather than later. | traidemark
05/2/2010 15:42 | Couldn't have put it better myself. | the big fella
05/2/2010 14:59 | Frauddy - you could have bought a decent stake if you'd been buying in when I was. And you obviously see these as a decent buy as you'd like a decent stake. Knocked today in a weak market - 2p wiped off for a sell of 5K - £1000 worth lol. How does a little punter selling 5K justify the market cap falling £500K? If you had any sense you'd be buying the weakness as I was at 7p - you then tuck them away knowing these cruised thought the last market downdturn, have been around 140 years and have £2.5m cash - that's half the market cap! Paying a divi - property assets of £10m+ - little wonder you're out to buy. CR | cockneyrebel
05/2/2010 14:39 | thought I'd look in.......but what is the point of an investment if you can never buy a decent stake? it could be a twenty bagger, but if you can only accumulate a few thousand shares, what does it matter? there's been a lot of sweat and screen watching over the years by crockney in this one - but what has it amounted to ? if you're feeling speccy buy a few hundred thou' OTE, there's stock around and the odds are better than even...... | ydderf
03/2/2010 15:20 | Can't tell you how many shifts APG are doing but the number of online retailers selling Airsprug seems to be growing like billio. Just put Airsprung in Google and take a look at how many online retailers line up now. CR | cockneyrebel
03/2/2010 15:14 | There car park seems quite full night times (6.30 ish) so i guess so. Got a rep for one of their group companies visiting me next week - i'll fish a bit! How did you know all my mates call me froggy? ha ha | le frog
03/2/2010 12:18 | are they still doing some work at the factory, froggy, or have they all given up and gone away? | ursus
20/1/2010 09:17 | Bought a few Airsprung last week. The last time I thought about doing so they were working short time etc but seem to have turned around a bit. I drive past the factory everyday to and from work. When i drive past evenings - 6.30 ish - there are usually people outside smoking which indicates to me they are running more than one shift. Probably old news and may not be true but did give me a bit more confidence. | le frog
20/1/2010 00:47 | CR Are you aware of Anglesey Mining AYG? Looks the best investment around at the moment. It has a major holding in Canadian Mining company LIN and usually the stocks ahare appx the same share price LIN has soared in the last few days and though AYG has done the same it has been outpaced at double the rate whicj makes it look good for a 100% rise in no time. This one was given to me by Rivaldo who has doubled in a few days - I got in a little bit higher up the price scale with a sizeable spreadbet taht has already made me mint. Please go look, if you are unaware of it. EDIT Sorry CR I should have said AYM for the ticker. You will notice a big rise in the AYM share price since I posted this and they are hot today (21st) | greek islander
18/1/2010 12:27 | Yep, lets not dwell on his disasters tho or we could be here for some time :-) 24p - nice WJCC CR | cockneyrebel
18/1/2010 12:23 | Only teasing, Crockery Rubble, I'm quite aware that it wasn't you who chose Cattles as his share of the year recently! | ursus
18/1/2010 12:00 | Added a few at 24p. | wjccghcc
18/1/2010 11:24 | Market makers preparing for sellers after retail downgrades lately. Higher ticket items will suffer with expected tax rises and low consumer spend. | ls lowry
18/1/2010 10:44 | you're joking - APG's doing well - can't be anything to do with Freddy. Down on no volume today. Amazes me - when I was buying at 7p nobody was interested. Trading statement and they had doubled to 14p, results and they hit 30p+. At that point I hear people saying they can't get any stock because it's so tight. Falls back to 25p and the same people that couldn't get stock at 30p aren't gobbling these up. Investing is about psychology. With every stock, when shares are high and racin north everyone thinks there's some great news coming and the stock is a buy. When it's falling they think something is wrong and they don't want to buy. The truth usually is that nothing much has changed in any of the businesses other than invester psychology. When the buyers are back in ahead of the March trading statement and the stock is rising they'll all be thinking that the buyers know something we don't. I've lived with APG for the past 5 years, it's illiquid - that's all theee is to it. The director abd chairman bought up most of the shares, there's rarely anything more than 20-30K about at the best of times. Mind over matter imo. CR | cockneyrebel
18/1/2010 10:08 | Did you get this tip from Freddy, CookeryBubble? | ursus
12/1/2010 16:56 | See Tesco results today Daytraders and Greek-I ? Catalogue sales going great guns - and it's APG's first year in there still. Aside from Tesco and Argos I did a search last week - there's an absolute ton of places doing Airsprung beds now - do a search on 'Airsprung' and take a look - must have doubled over the last year. Trading statement will be very good imo. CR | cockneyrebel

11/1/2010 09:51 | CR We need some further news to tick this one up. Hardly any interest at all. Looks very cheap to me which is why it is my second biggest tip for the year (after VLE). | greek islander
05/1/2010 19:47 | Down on pathetic volume - 30K. I expect these to do 5p eps in the coming year, above forecasts as they are well ahead at H1, which would be a PE of 5.5. Even on forecasts the PE is just 6.5. £2m cash, no debt - property assets worth double the mkt cap. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2009 14:50 | Someone's put in a big buy order - ticked up on a 60K trade - filling a larger buy? CR | cockneyrebel
15/12/2009 17:38 | There's not many keen sellers imo - was a weak market today so someone took some profit - you couldn't get 20K after the results without a premium through my broker - They paid a premium for that 20K too they got too - looks like they paid mid for them :-) Unles they got them earlier which looks possible and that caused the tick down - still paid the best bid in ages tho. CR | cockneyrebel
15/12/2009 17:35 | the mm obviously had no trouble in buying in 20k to satisfy my purchases! | hybrasil
15/12/2009 12:04 | Cr Just took another 10k at the same price | hybrasil
15/12/2009 11:55 | Me too Hybrasil(big holding) - but a great business to have a big holding in :-) CR | cockneyrebel |
