Not really. I know what I'm looking at; not close to AI though. As I said, just my views. To answer the thread's title question; I'd say yes - but we'll have to wait for the figures to come out.

ikuzuS - Interesting post. You seem to be close to the action.

Wierd and calling the RNS "Notice of Results etc" comes across as if the company is a bored teenager. Whatever.

Unusual statement. A mixture of inline and potentially downgrading next years results. The market may not like the reference to moderate progress next year.

The pre close statement came out on the 19th last year.....I would therefore think that it is safe to expect one now within the next few days. They haven't warned so I think that we should expect an "on target" statement. If that IS the case then we should find ourselves on a pe of just under 9 and a forecast pe of 7 for the next financial year.Whilst the "mountain" that ACS had to climb, in terms of earnings, from the 2005 loss, to the 2006 estimate of £1.4 pbt, will be a BIG turnaround, the 2007 estimates are based upon a PBT increase of £0.4....so more of a hill than a mountain, in my book, to reach next years estimates! My guess is the 2007 estimates have discounted gaining any of the "big" insurers (rightly so!)so IF ACS manage to contract a slice of that action then we could be in for PBT upgrades....aimho etc etc.

More recruitment at AI Claims.....is the reason for this and the other recent vacancies an increase in business?.....time will tell!

Appointment at Ai Claims Solutions(from Post magazine)

Jim Monteith has been made technical services director at Ai Claims Solutions. Mr Monteith joins the company from the Fleet Accident Repair Group where he was managing director, and before this was group commercial director for the Scorpion Group.

Nice to see the steady rise...

What a lovely trading stock!

And maybe one day we will see 'real world' progress too!

Hi trixter....I think anything that MMs do in small cap stocks doesn't always reflect the true position!!! Having said that, the info that I have, strongly suggests that the MMs are short.....but in a small cap that is thinly traded they can remain short for a very long time.....the interesting part for me is that during the recent sharp decline in the price there wasn't the normal panic selling.....in fact the opposite occurred....so whilst the MMs may well be short it won't affect the price unless we get a contract announcement or a set of "above forecast" results.....I'm currently expecting neither in the short term.....but who knows....it's all smoke and mirrors.....the real value lies in the medium to long term imho!

alex - so are the MMs short or is there a large sell in the background? At the moment, the online limit is a mere 1500 to buy 35000 to sell.
