Results are solid, but turnover and EBITDA are behind EVO's forecast, so I have sold half (25,000@27.5p) this morning. Nice profit from purchase at 18.7p. Will look to buy back if they dip, equally happy if they rocket from here.

What would you consider 'average results' to be?
Aalso any views on possible dividend level, nothing like the restarting of dividend payments to bring a company into view.

So it was you who moved the market!.....good luck with your purchase....don't let the MMs have them back on the cheap.....remember if the ACS business plan does work, keeping this stock for 2 years also means you only have to pay 10% CGT!....but as always DYOR & remember that if the results are just average then the MMs will walk this price back down to capture T10 traders stock at lower levels......if the prospects are unchanged and they do I will buy more!......I'm really not expecting anything spectacular from this set of results....but let's see where we go from here!

Alexacj, Many thanks for good post, suppose the market looks ahead, the art is for us to be ahead of the market, the moves here suggest to me that adding here may not be so daft, think about results coming up: a nice dividend and good second half with good prospects, o.k, that is maybe optomistic, but hey, who knows, I added today.

I think that they SHOULD be capable of attaining a lot more than 30p IF they are able to gain more contracts......just think where the share price would now be if they had held onto the Direct Line business and not lost it......they have since replaced that and should be able to gain a lot more.....I guess you have to ask why ,if ACE & Helphire to name but 2, managed to gain millions of pounds worth of business over the past 12 months and are expected to grow again at a substantial rate next year in a growing market ,can't ACS also grow their turnover....and remember that their current expense profile can handle a lot more business....so the revenues would go straight to the bottom line.....either way the potential is huge but don't expect to get there overnight or with an share price that just rockets....it won't happen....be patient...buy on weakness cos you can bet weakness will return somewhere along the line.......just as long as it's not permanent!!!!.....aimho!

A nice finish to the week. There may be life in this one yet, and having bought at 30p i sincerely hope so!

Sometime this month......doesn't look as if the MMs really wanted to shift stock, more like they need stock.....time will tell!
If you haven't read the TRIX thread IMHO its worth a read on Market Maker tactics.....all becomes a lot clearer!

Just thought I'd check out how real this price drop was......(not really looking to add more as I already hold a fair few,but thought it may be interesting to test the MM appetite!!).....you could have bought 15000 on line for 25.2p....when I tried to get 25000 on a manual trade for 25.2 it was declined and they put up the on line prices!!.....so nothing to worry about IMHO....just normal MM boll@x!

Don't know.....70000 worth of sells & a 25000 buy first thing.....looks like a top up opportunity is arriving......Helphire fell 4% yesterday....again don't know why as there wasn't any news....but it is already back up nearly 4% & ACE is also up....maybe the normal MM games to shake out a few shares.....this one is tightly held and there has been steady buying.....so maybe they need a few?
Whilst posting thought I'd highlight a possible money making share for you.....BIO (Biofocus) has just had an all share offer agreed by both the Board of BIO & Galapagus (the purchaser) for the equivalent of £1.24 a share in Galapagus shares..(currently since announcement Galapagus shares up and now value BIO shares at £1.29).....MMs currently offering BIO at £1.05....wait three weeks and make a potential 20+% on current price.....sorry for those who are not interested but thought I'd share this as this scenario rarely occurs in my books

The real value potential of this share must be similar to that of ACE....it roughly has the same number of shares in issue,it's in the same business but has just not managed to convert as much business as ACE (yet)....if you look at the financial history of ACE the turnover and profits literally suddenly appeared over a 12 month period....prior to that they were virtually in start up as per ACS....ACS's expenses are higher than ACE but they have reiterated that their current expense profile can handle a great deal more turnover....i.e. the new contracts will not attract any additional expense to manage ,therefore profits will go straight to the bottom line....the real competitive advantage for sustainable growth SHOULD be the much towted fact that ACS's business model is based on creating amicable business relationships with the insurers who in the end make up the profits for ACS.....so in short (and AIMO) the gaining of ADDITIONAL contracts will make a HUGE difference to this co's profits......the fact that the banks have agreed to lend £10 million is probably a good indicator that they believe in the business plan and the future of this company(banks are not renowned for their charity!!!!)..... we need them to deliver a raft of new contracts!!....then and only then will this share price reflect the true potential within this sector....worth waiting for IMHO!
