23/2/2006 11:00 | I note that MASURENGUY chap is on the INX bb abusing someone too... Makes me feel I have correctly judged the chap... Meanwhile we wait for next week... Good luck all! | scotswhaehae
23/2/2006 08:25 | True nailbiter....will certainly give us a clue not only for ACS trading but also ACE & HHR....they must have had the same weather!!!! Only thing I would say is that whilst it was dry....there was a great deal of ice around and in fact the snow is falling as I speak....strange that the more accidents people have the better for the credit hire industry....not what you could call an ethical share!!! Just a thought.....but I would have hoped that the other reason for the 2nd half potentially being stronger is due to new contracts maturing (2 new contracts already announced)and volume building on existing contracts....that should also give us a clue to potential performance for H2...we need to see some real progress here if they are to hit their target turnover.....in my mind this is the exciting potential value in this share......the market has relatively few players in it with only about 30%(ish) of the total market contracted to the current players....so the vast majority is still available to win! | alexacj
23/2/2006 07:05 | I know that ACS are expected to talk about H2 being the better half but January was the driest January for 82 years...just wonder what they'll say about current trading when they report. | nailbiter
22/2/2006 13:15 | Which buy was your's then Scots? scburbs....IF they do deliver for the full year this may prove to be incredible value.....but I do understand that a few people have been here before.....if you go back to Feb 2005 you can see who they were.....and there was a huge amount of faith until the afternoon of 22nd Feb......let's hope that Tuesday shows the road ahead and strengthens the faith.....(I sound like a preacher now.....how worrying!) | alexacj
22/2/2006 13:12 | TIN doing well too! good luck all! | scotswhaehae
22/2/2006 13:10 | scots - surely not you, who sees fair value at 15p !? (okay, my last comment on this!) | trixter
22/2/2006 13:09 | advfn shows the other deals as sells...but they were buys too! | scotswhaehae
22/2/2006 13:09 | scburbs - Yes, H2 will be most telling, but let's see if we get some hints of things to come on Tuesday. | trixter
22/2/2006 13:07 | Re-entered the fray with 25k at 20.88p having been out seen shortly after last results. Don't expect results to be great as this year looks set for a strong H2 bias. However, progress appears to be being made and good value at this price. | scburbs
22/2/2006 12:39 | I've been away for a few days. Nice to come back and find all these comments on ACS. Just 2 comments, neither particularly insightful 1. The company is reporting earlier than usual and hasn't issued a trading update. Therefore, the results ought to be in line with expectations, whatever they are. 2. Scots has a track record of shouting "Fire" ahead of ACS results, to shake the price down so he can buy some cheap ones. He did it ahead of the last results and in the end, the numbers looked OK. This company is tightly held and thinly traded and a few thousand shares can impact the price. | lord orphan
22/2/2006 11:02 | lets leave it...and just enjoy the fun... if its fundamental value u want...u might enjoy TIN... good luck all! | scotswhaehae
22/2/2006 10:54 | scots - interest in seeing it down to 15p ! LOL! :-) (now at scots "break-up" value) | trixter
22/2/2006 10:28 | Easy now, I am in at 30p and 22p average of 25p or so, happy to wait and see! | elmfield
22/2/2006 10:02 | scots - interesting that you hang around so much when you have no interest in the share ;-) | trixter
22/2/2006 08:59 | What is it with that guy... OK so he has a holding from much higher up...hardly my fault!! Good luck all! | scotswhaehae
22/2/2006 08:35 | "time to move on I suggest..." Time to follow your own advice ! | masurenguy
21/2/2006 20:46 | My figures were based on ANNUAL projections ............. Duh - have you grasped that yet ! | masurenguy
21/2/2006 19:40 | MASURENGUY...re post 561...I would be ASTOUNDED if your turnover numbers are correct.... These are INTERIMS !!!! NOW WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE...lol! | scotswhaehae
21/2/2006 19:28 | LOL....not sure I know that much...I just do a bit of reading!..our resident expert seems to be Lord Orphan who appears to have an unnerving knack of discovering facts about the credit hire industry long before they are common knowledge....if he comes up with anything ...good or bad I would listen....aimho!.... | alexacj |
