04/1/2008 10:14 | Is it definitely taking that route 5bag and not the Suez? Maybe an email to AFR to ask for an offline ship position update, I think we have someone here on personal email terms with the AFR main offices who might be in a position to do that | mikey_b
04/1/2008 10:09 | Morning all. More lurker than poster here but would like to wish a belated Happy New Year to all on this thread and thanks for all the positive contributions, especially to Leeson for the enthusiasm and JB for his background knowledge. I do have a question - did I read here a while back that the company intend to move to a full market listing? | riverdiver
04/1/2008 09:56 | Our FPSO has its own propulsion, but some of them dont. They need tugs at Okoro setu to position the FPSO and the rig, but I dont know if FPSO is being towed there, I just know the FPSO isnt showing up under its known call sign on the AIS ship location system, well, not the one im looking at anyway link below: | 5bag
04/1/2008 09:47 | 5bag thanks, would it be under its own steam too or are tugs the norm? I have this childish image of it ploughing through hundred foot waves to go get my oil. | giltspur
04/1/2008 08:48 | crest down from 11.30 % now at 10.80 % | leeson31

03/1/2008 21:47 | Never mind, it'll be there soon, churning out afrens oil. And we'll be at 130p night all | 5bag
03/1/2008 21:17 | It was just a thought gilty, i cant get at african coastguard weather reports anyway, but have looked on ship tracking sites. I also read a while back that some large vessels 'rounding the cape' would maybe have to use tugs, because its a dangerous stretch of water, strong currents etc. Wouldnt class the FPSO as large though, much bigger ships go round the cape unaided. | 5bag
03/1/2008 21:08 | 5bag Thanks mate - never considered that. | giltspur
03/1/2008 21:05 | lol soup! In my dreams maybe, much more modest, my lifestyle, dont even have a rubber duck.. | 5bag
03/1/2008 21:00 | you saying you only have one 5bag? I find life unbearable with less than 3 yachts, and maybe a rubber duck for the bath. | soupdragon55
03/1/2008 20:58 | R3 at 114.25p for tmrw!! :p | leeson31
03/1/2008 20:53 | everyone should have one, does wonders for the carbon footprint, and much comfier than flying lol | 5bag
03/1/2008 20:40 | lol. keep that 1 in monaco | leeson31
03/1/2008 20:35 | 5 Think you'll find that's his tugboat. | jack brent
03/1/2008 20:33 | Gilty, done a ship search, and that call sign doesnt crop up, it is correct though. Maybe she's being towed by tugs, which means that weather reports would originate from the tugs call sign. Afren would have to charter tugs anyway to position the rig. Did find one of Leesons yachts though: :p | 5bag
03/1/2008 20:05 | Darcon: how do you mean this in detail? | makkaroni
03/1/2008 19:16 | Bringing a general counsel on board indicates that a number of M&A transactions are probably planned. | darcon

03/1/2008 18:39 | I've got 130p as my target price Review when we get there. Armada Perkasa to arrive in a few weeks - it must be rounding the cape by now I would guess. (if it's goig that way) Anybody know how to locate her position? Call sign was 9WCP8 - don't know if it still is. | giltspur
03/1/2008 18:25 | Showing very good strength today along with a number of others in the oil sector. It'll be interesting to see if 110 is broken convincingly in the short term. | billfisher98
