DALLAS, June 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/
-- Summertime fun is synonymous with hometown festivals, so to
celebrate the season Motel 6 and the famous brand voice
Tom Bodett are honoring America's
Top 6 Quirkiest Festivals of 2016 by paying homage to the local
communities that make these extraordinary events possible. All the
recognized festivals give locals and out-of-towners alike a chance
to celebrate some of the most original and entertaining summer
fairs across the United States,
while encouraging communities to rally around their city's unique
attributes and quirky bits of history.
"The best part of working on this list with Motel 6 was
rediscovering America's ingenuity. There are so many exceptional
events and communities across the U.S., and I am thrilled to help
shine the light on them," said Motel 6 brand ambassador and voice,
Tom Bodett. "Motel 6's list of
America's Top 6 Quirkiest Festivals is the perfect chance for
travelers to make the most of the summer vacation season and
experience these one-of-a-kind happenings. The average carnival
pales in comparison. There really is no better way for an iconic,
all-American brand to keep inspiring travelers to see our beautiful
country than by showing off some of the most unique experiences in
it. I hope we can motivate fans from across the country to
celebrate summer with us!"
Motel 6 and Tom Bodett chose
these wonderfully off-beat festivals based on uniqueness of theme
and exemplary attendee experiences. In recognition of their
achievement, each organization will receive an honorary plaque
presented by Motel 6.
