Shareholders wiped out here now with very little chance of a return... Can see this going sideways into oblivion now before HUM take the asset back for a tuppence

At least the BOD will be able to pay themselves for quite a while.

Is this an improvement or a deterioration since the previous stats were issued ?

Is the company withering on the vine or, hopefully not really affecting the main area where they hope to mine ?

With the gold price looking better this must surely help, even if a large dilution lies ahead ?

Could be wise bsg, I'm waiting until early next week at the earliest for a first add.

RSI divergence over the 9th August low, another 4 sessions closing above yesterday's close and we have our first buy signal.

That's actually not a bad RNS, the drop on that news is harsh imo.

Is this the capitulation point, might be time to start buying?

I think the key word is "domestic investors" rather than domestic beneficiaries.

It brings Mali's mining code inline with other regional governments... Could be worse In Egypt a mine has to give 50% of net profits to the government without receiving any tax breaks or local investments.

It is the nail on the coffin here for the DFS though, there's literally nothing left that matches the DFS anymore. Surely they need a new one now?

Lol correnties why would I have lost money when I told you it would go sub 6p when it was at 20p?

I told you how this would pan out and why and now they don't even have a licence or secured full project funding.

One can have an interest without holding a position, it's called patience... I have the patience to wait for the licence and dilution that I said would always come in advance of any build... Bet you wished you had?

Ha ha ha ha

Taking an interest in a no-hoper can help us understand the market by learning from errors of sector peers or even help investors avoid bad eggs. Taking an interest in other posters' posting history is less insightful imho but each to their own.

It's funny how some posters suddenly take an interest in a no-hoper when it's at the bottom, and bash it even more. If you look at the postings of those same individuals in other penny dreadfulls they're 'interested' in, you'll see a common theme. I prefer to see what the authorities actually do, not deliberately misinterpret what might happens. Reverse psychology at work here ?

Plat, why so much continued interest in a no-hoper ? How much have you lost here ? It's all down to luck, seemingly bad luck in your case ?

You're probably right Dead Duck... I've been bearish on it ever getting to production for a long time.

Will be interesting to see if effects Cora's chances in anyway though.

When the Mali govt 'purchased' an additional stake in B2Gold's mine they didn't pay a penny, arranging it as an IOU payable from production out of their increased dividend. As the government doesn't contribute to capex it doesn't plug the funding gap and can be seen as a free carry then an increased profit interest on commercial production if they so choose. This reduces profits available to shareholders so is largely negative. You could say negative to neutral as Cora's project is unlikely to ever become a mine.
