The rising gold price is going to take care of business here.

That's the best outcome shareholders can dream of here, it's not a prediction as such but it does make sense for both parties, especially if HUM can update their existing yanfolila licences with an addendum rather than a whole new licence application.

Also, HUM might be a potential acquirer but Robex Resources (Market cap 236.34 million CAD) also looks like another potential suitor. Already have an operating mine in Mali which is quite similar to the SANANKORO GOLD PROJECT.

So, a 100% upside from the current share price for anyone buying in now then. Sounds positive and why I am a buyer at these levels especially with a rising gold price.

Lol at Corrientes.

No sympathy for him, he attacked anyone who posted about the chance of success here.

No licence and a DFS for 100m capex for a 50k return. Where as HUM have just completed their second mine for 120m capex for 140k ounces.

Told him to just keep watching what happens. Shareholders here are wiped out now, there's no way back without trebling the issuance. HUM will end up taking the assets back to extend the life of the underground mine at yanfolila.

If a 20million bid comes here then shareholders should jump at it.

Perhaps it's just a delayed reaction and we may see a 20% rise in due course as the sentiment begins to change as investors start to search for the next undervalued gold stock. As the other gold producers and explorers rerate, somewhat, then the value of the ones who have yet to rerate begins to look more appealing.

The precious metals story has many years to play out yet, it will cumliminate in a wonderful orgy of speculation and mania.

Just my view on the psycholgical aspect of the sector, shares and times may change, but human emotions don't:)

Well then, wakey wakey Cora. It can't be the geography ; look at Hum. Have the lenders got cold feet ?

Hmm, I think things are going to get much worse and the worst is yet to come and therefore gold is a hedge against this. Looking at the US stock markets they are still riding high, I concur with other notable commentators that things are going to get ugly. During the recession of the 70's the small cap gold stocks did very well indeed.

Agree that it is still early days.

I can't help get the feeling - once the recession recovery starts - junior PM miners will be the new asset darlings. Similar to the crypto rush of 2020 - except, you know, developing something tangible and useful.

Right, I'm thinking the ground and licenses they have would be an interesting acquisition for mid-tier or smaller type company, say an RSG. Who, with further drilling and exploration can expand the resource and thus mine life, whilst simultaneously progressing the mine development.

The share price is still close to all time lows, with gold heading for all time highs (unadjusted for inflation). I like that. I think the Mali risk puts people off a bit, but other miners are operating well within Mali, and Mali needs them to to continue generating taxes as well as giving the country a perception of stability which it badly needs.

Early days yet in this gold bull market for these gold and silver stocks.

It's a weird one. Has obvs secured a good tranche of funding and was supported by some big and experienced names, but a long way to go to setup an operational mine.

Market didn't even blink on the funding news. I suspect they are waiting to be acquired by someone with deeper pockets.

There is zero noise about them on social media - which is good news - but if gold goes parabolic (tick tock) I'm sure pump and dumpers will be out looking for junior miners to ramp.

It's been three weeks since my last post, so hopefully no dud will call me a ramper:) But CORA is getting cheaper by the day and due a rerate.

More than what they would have accepted two months ago:)

Sp at all time lows, gold heading to 2040 USD. Just seems like a matter of time before people start to look again at this unloved stock.

I would ask what price the company insiders would accept. Looking at history a 134% premium may not be good enough.

The stock hit a high of 19p on the 2021/08/31 gold was trading at 1820 USD at that time.

On the 2022/04/12 (1 year ago) the price of CORA was 8p, the gold price at that time was 1970 USD.

The DFS & Optimised Project Economics have been based on a gold price of US$1,750/oz, giving an 52.3% IRR and 1.2 year payback period.

The gold price is now 250 USD above that level.

I could see CORA getting an offer at around a 134% premium to the current share price from an opportunistic predator looking to grow to become a mid-tier gold producer.

One who has the cash to both build the mine, and therefore negate the need to go for loans and debt, as well as cash to further explore both the current resource to prove it up to extend the mine life, as well as to utilize the license area in Mali which has district scale gold potential.

And as the gold price increases, so will the increase in interest of these bombed out unloved gold projects.

RSG are going from strength to strength. Could see an RSG taking out CORA, drilling out the license a bit more to increase the resource in size and make it into a 10 year plus mine. All for pennies on the dollar.
