29/8/2016 19:06 | I am wondering who would actually want Big Brain on their salary roll. I would dread the high maintenance costs that tend to be involved with a man of his immense stature.Wee Tom will have a heavy load to bear for his time in BB's shadow.VGLTA | seangwhite

16/6/2016 23:51 | Remember, B O'C recommended we shareholders reject the 25p/share offer Worldview made? That was pretty bad advice from a Director supposed to be looking out for shareholders, no? In some way, certainly morally, possibly legally, he is liable for our losses | freddyfrog

08/6/2016 10:27 | No. If the Court approves the scheme of arrangement the shares will all be cancelled for the members as at the effective date. At least thats how I understand the document. The tax point will therefore be the cancellation date. I don't know what the CGT/Loss rules are for Ireland or UK but for me, once logged I can use it to offset any gains and if there is any left over loss the difference remains to offset future gains. I would think it wouldn't be any or much different for UK and Ireland except that I think the UK has a 5 year limit on the accrued loss. | isef0001
08/6/2016 09:59 | isef0001 thanks a million for your information can some shares be cancelled this financial year and the remainder held over until next year | billionaire1
08/6/2016 09:34 | Billionaire: For me its about having the shares cancelled before June 30th. That way I can log a capital loss for tax purposes this financial year. If not, I'll have to wait another year. NB I'm on a different tax year to the Brits. Don't know when the Irish tax year starts and ends but mine is 1st July to June 30th. Have sympathy for your comment about the BOD. | isef0001
