Gentlemen,

If I were Worldview I would not up my putative offer. Absent the PCI board being sensible, the current position, I think I would stand back and watch the lenders take over. They would then have to deal with me.

cannot outright reject a 3p offer lol doesn't bode well, perhaps a small bump will get them to agree but whatever happens the value realised will be well below where it is now

Petroceltic will only stay afloat as long as the banks keep propping it up. The problem for the banks is at the current Oil and Gas prices Petroceltic is not covering costs, they are purging money. So not alone do they not call in the loans but they will be faced with the dilemma of further funding them. No way this is going to happen, banks will just throw in the towel and take there loss. They will recover what they can in a fire-sale. WV`s 3p offer will be snapped up if another offer doesn`t present itself within a very short time.

So the Russian vultures have landed. But there is one name most seem to have missed in this cynical slugfest...Sonatrach. Do we really think they would welcome these Russians insinuating themselves as bedfellows in Ain Tsila? Sonatrach effectively control what happens in Algeria where the economic problems are already dire.
Meanwhile Opec (or specifically Aramco) have the shale explorers on their knees and may be about to cut supplies fascillitating a price rise. Lets hope PCI can stay afloat long enough.

Resourceful, the question and only question that requires answering here is,

Did the statement by Worldview last week cause the shareprice to drop over 50% ??

If the answer to that is Yes, then the only conclusion I can make is that they have manipulated the share price for their own ends.

Make no mistake, the PCI board have made some terrible decisions over the past few years and are definitely responsible for the loss of value, however that's a completely separate issue imho.

Hopefully a respectable Petrochemical bid will come in for the long holders here but thanks to worldview it will be lower now thanks to Friday.

Yes he and his followers may be involved here because of the damage caused by that bid last week. Abhorred by Worldview behavior.

I have no problem with shorters but I have grave concerns about what is going on here and so should the Stock Exchange.
