GPM linear share price chart since it's flotation. I'm hoping, different world, that the GPM high of circa 130p, achieved in 2011, will be retested and surpassed. 🤞 I'm hoping I'm still around to witness it. 🤞 🤣🤣

6 months Gold price chart using Heiken-Ashi candlesticks and showing Bollinger Bands, 20 day MA, MACD & 14 day RSI.
Interesting chart. You can see the the spike up to over $2440 earlier this month and the change in colour (green to red) when the Heiken-Ashi candlesticks started to turn Bearish. This short term Bearish trend was confirmed when the Gold price dropped below the 20 day MA.
Both the RSI & MACD are trending down.
I will wait patiently until the RSI starts to rise again, the Heiken-Ashi candlesticks turn green again and the Gold price rises above the 20 day MA again and the BB's start to widen. Until then I'll go to sleep! 🤣

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Gold price drop back to the 50 day EMA as support and maybe even drop below it. The 50 day EMA is currently around $2240, albeit still rising.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I posted the above on Tuesday. The 50 day EMA is currently at around $2250.
I can't predict the future so, unlike Nostradamus, I won't even try! 🤣 However my long term Gold price chart is still Strongly Bullish.

The bears, shorters and market riggers will do everything they can to hold gold and silver down - it won't work.

The cracks are beginning to appear. As each week and month pass, the important indicators are turning towards a slowdown in the US economy. But the inflation figures are stubbornly refusing to fall down to target.

Eventually the two will meet in the middle, and Powell will be forced into a cut against his "better judgment".

The same will go for the hopeless and hapless Bailey over here who couldn't run a sarsparella and pie & mash stall if he tried.

And that's when gold will convincingly come into play with large sustainable increaes in price and volume.

Meanwhile, here's this week's Palisades Capital interview - oil to $200 and buy gold and silver.

Despite gold coming off in the last hour, the ducks are all lining up very positively.

As far as GPM is concerned, we have a 25-30% cushion in play between the share price and the NAV, very high by any standards, so any downturn in the gold price will be well insured against down to the $2200 level at least.

I've chosen to post this chart of GDXJ because as an ETF it isn't complicated by a fluctuating discount to NAV, like GPM. As can be seen since the high of early April the GDXJ share price is forming a "Flag" pattern. That is often a Bullish continuation pattern following a sharp rise (the "Flag" pole). Short term target price is 40+

Gold currently up 1.44% tonight following the FOMC statement. Should bode well for the GPM share price
Yes, different world, stagflation is a distinct possibility. I believe the last time the USA experienced stagflation was in the 1970's, which was an excellent decade for Gold.

I'm keeping my 50k of GPM shares. Not tempted to sell. I've started to add to my junior Gold miners. I've had a small flutter on GDXJ this morning.
