16/2/2018 10:37 | this one seems to have escaped any falls in the latest turmoil but mostloy going sideways- what are we waiting for as trigger to propell the share price any one been here longer? | ali47fish
06/2/2018 09:41 | Thought foam was not to cushion a fall. Not much fun currently. | shanklin
05/2/2018 13:25 | thanks rivaldo; that explains the strength today then amid all the red elsewhere. Most annoying though - very nearly added some on Friday - could get what I wanted at 4.37 but thought I would wait in the hope of a better price this morning. | janeann
05/2/2018 09:44 | Great to see SCSW picking up on ZTF this weekend as a new idea, concluding that the shares are "set to go higher". We can hopefully expect to see more coverage over the coming months. | rivaldo
02/2/2018 15:44 | Perhaps worth making the point that I would like to think ZTF would not be making the recently announced £12m investment if they did not expect to get a (say) 5x return on said investment. Otherwise why bother doing it? £60m of additional profits over the coming years would be pretty significant for ZTF. | shanklin
31/1/2018 21:07 | Dear Dubai123, Thank you for this update on Zotefoams I had no idea that Nike did 19 billion in footwear that is Huge and anything attached to that should grow | pockstones
30/1/2018 12:40 | It’s a Zotefoams product and technology, they have been working on this for 3 years but would not say who the end customer was. The next step is to get the 3D moulding perfect to reduce the offcuts and therefore make the foam viable in a lower cost shoe. Interesting situation and still my largest holding, glad I stuck it in my ISA all those years ago. | exbroker
26/1/2018 18:23 | Not being the worlds best user of ADVFN I wanted to start a thread for anyone interested in UK small caps. Zotefoams (ZTF) has a market cap of circa £200 million and a balanced and impressive shareholder list but part of me feels that stock is being missed by the broader market. I had dropped some comments on some other users messages and thanks to them for their comments backs including stockopedia. The UK small cap market with the introduction of Mifid II means that small cap companies may not get the air time they deserve. A global business ,Main Listed on the London Stock Exchange, Zotefoams has transformed over the last few years to one of the most exciting , substantive stocks in the market A world leader is not something one would normally attribute to a UK Small cap company but here the proprietary technology is not just world class but proven and more importantly in commercial use. Each of the companies three divisions are in their own right impressive but for me Mucell and HPP stand out. Customers include bell weathers such as Boeing, Unilever, BMW and NIke . With so many to mention it makes it difficult to know which one to reference. Take the recent company RNS releases to the stock market relating to Nike and ZTF £12 million investment at Croydon. You can read on the links below Now take a look at the scale of this alone Nike sales of footwear is circa $19 billion. This is the excitement around it on the home page of Nike Inc. WATCH THE VIDEO very impressive validation of unique technology. LETS not forget what else they do Take a look at Mucell Technology which takes plastic out at source when making say a bottle, food pouch etc . It removes I think circa 12% of the plastic needed to make he item. People rave about recyling and how important it is but surely using less in the first place is better. Zotefoams to my knowledge ( Anyone else know s anything different then let me know) are the ONLY people in the world that remove plastic at source .By way of validation Unilever has used this in its Dove Body wash range . See the RNS below from 2014 Its really simple. Zotefoams installs a piece of kit at the end of a line that makes say a yogurt pot. It injects non toxic gas bubbles into the plastic that gives the same structure as if the plastic was there. Less plastic means less cost to make the product, lighter and of course far more sustainable . So my question is SIMPLE if you make packaging why would you not use Mucell. Time will tell. Anyway I would love to hear peoples view and try to better understand the perception of this company. P.S These are my own thoughts and not trying to ramp or puff or push a position. Research for us retail investors is massively limited and I guess the more perception is addressed the reality can reveal itself. | dubai123
26/1/2018 16:55 | Don’t forget also they are establishing/extendi | dozey3
26/1/2018 16:52 | I think ZTF is a great company also but just a fact check on the video. I don't see any confirmation that this is in fact Zotefoams product - actually it goes into a lot of detail around the research that Nike did themselves on the materials used. However it could be the case that they source or instruct on the precise mix of raw materials and ZTM do the manufacture. Some independent verification of this would be useful because if it is the case that the video is referring to ZTM's product obviously its a big win. | bensug
26/1/2018 15:46 | Thanks. I think ZTF is THE most interesting company in the market. It's rare you find a world leading business listed in the uk that has such big potential and genuinely over looked by the retail market. The NIke deal ( which alone is off the clock) takes your eyes away from MuCell Technology and the mass of opportunities there plus the super grow of their high performance products.Anyway I will keep you informed of my research but the more I read the more I feel this stock is the most exciting I have come across in recent years | dubai123
26/1/2018 15:34 | Ah ok thanks that's helpful although not sure I'm use to anyone giving me credit !!! | dubai123

16/1/2018 18:45 | If you could only buy shares in one company, what would it be? We tend to invest across a portfolio, in that regard we don't give personal advice on individual companies. But one of the companies that we're quite upbeat about at the moment is a company called Zotefoams (ZTF), it's involved in foam manufacture both in the UK and in the US. Alongside that, for many years, it's been incubating a new business alongside it called MuCell, which is now reaching maturity and will actually add to the profits growth in the future. A combined business we think could actually be quite exciting over the coming years. | douglas fir

11/1/2018 08:17 | N+1 Singer have commented as follows FYI: "Zotefoams's new plant in the U.S. will alleviate the current capacity tension in the company's polyolefins unit, N+1 Singer says. Construction work at the facility has been completed and a handover to manufacturing is expected in February, the producer of high-end plastic foam materials said. The U.S. plant is expected to feed increased demand for Zotefoams's products, as the company plans to expand its Zotek foam range capacity this year, N+1 Singer notes. There are also increased opportunities in the high-performance products segment, following the company's partnership with Nike last month, the brokerage adds. Shares trade 1.4% higher at 460 pence" | rivaldo
10/1/2018 11:38 | Yep - a good positive update, but in reality doesn't tell us anything material that they hadn't already told us. Unsurprising therefore to see little movement in the share price. I still don't know what the range of market expectations is ; I believe the average EPS forecast is 15.4p but no idea of the range. More interesting though I expect will be when we start to get updates to the 2018 forecasts (current concensus 2018 EPS is 17.9p which I personally think is a little light.) | kazoom
10/1/2018 08:27 | From such a conservative management team to see such a confident statement reflects the visibility they must have in each business segment. This is more exciting than ever | dubai123 |
